eFuture is no more, space retires

Following WCG's decision to drop CS 1.6, eFuture has decided to close its doors with Xiaotian "space" Huang retiring while his teammates will continue under another name.

The Chinese team's most recent international tournament was ECL held in Beijing last October. They managed to win the grand final over Ultimax Gaming USA, but a flash bug in overtime turned the match around in UMX's favor.

They also attended IEM6 Global Challenge Guangzhou earlier that same month, managing to place fourth after beating Anexis in group stage, then losing against mousesports and WinFakt in playoffs. The team qualified for IEM6 WC, but were unable to attend due to financial issues.

eFuture was:

Ning "Richie" Wan

Huang has decided to retire from competitive gaming in order to focus on real life. eFuture's goal was attending World Cyber Games to be held in China later this year, but as the event organizer moved over the mobile games, eFuture decided to let go of its CS team.

The rest of the team will stick together and look for a new fifth which should be announced this coming weekend. Their next event will be ECL 2012 final on April 13-15 in Beijing, China.

china was fucking great against most of the european teams given they couldnt practise 1 bit with them.. if you read interviews ull understand that the european teams are scared of the chinese because of their amazing aim and outta this world tactics!

lol,I dont know if #1 is good enough in CS?I wonder if kick ever rankead that before,even now when tyloo is on, they can take any team down in the world, the sad thing is they cant travel like european teams because they are close to each others. Even now there are not many people play cs in our country we still have quite a few talents ,i dont know how that u said we are not great when your country dont even have a clan rank top10 in the world lol.

do you know that before alex, nuke was a completely ct oriented map like terrorists in de_assault... he was one who discovered that squeaky door rush and the manipulation of vents... even the boost from outer to ladder top as terrorists via the roof !! ! why are you talkin abt cs from 2010-2012!? i don remember starix, zues, threat earning big points before that ! and talkin abt robban.. the guy was an utter failure before forest and gtr joined... even after they did they guy had to struggle with delpan.. carn was good till 2009.. got destroyed by navi in 2010 that even his team mates said they cant stay with him anymore..

well, in the last two months, i have been hearing many shitty news about cs, but i'm not yet convinced that cs is dying! what about you?

+1, if there is no new game can replace the CS1.6 ,then CS will never die. ps:from the beta that we got from CS:GO,CS1.6 is still the best FPS in the world. CS is not dying to me.

i approve, but i think there will be one or two years pause for hard cs competitions, and this will last until sponsors realise that there is not another good fps!
