BECSL II reaches playoffs

Balkan-Europe CS League II which is handing out a total of 1180€ in prize money in its second online season, has finished its group stage and moved onto playoffs.

The season started exactly a month ago with a total of 42 teams split in eight different groups, each of them consisting of five to six teams. Although only sixteen of them made playoffs, basically all favorites have qualified to this stage.

There are still two matches left to be played, as ENTiTY will take on JaS in order to decide whether it will be the Macedonian's or Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni's team that clinchess the final playoff spot.

they have trace, better than jigetus+basic combined. colon is as good as aslak! they have a much better igl than lurppis and xyp9x = nasu. so if u look at it head 2 head, wikipediots > winfakt 2011!

Do you remember how he got banned while playing for Denmark? That was on-line too and he was "amazing" :D If he plays the same against Na´Vi on LAN, then screw it, but until then...

let's just forget all the other player comparisons, the fact wikipediots have attended two(?) lan events in their short history and have yet to beat any top teams (no, online matches and especially ones against a team without its best player [markeloff] playing do not count), because you just made an absolutely ridiculous case in your post: xyp9x = nasu. let's be real here, nasu is better than at least 3 of xapso's players have ever been or will ever become. case closed.

haven't had motivation to play in a few months so i've spent most of my time in north america. i'm currently in finland for a couple of weeks to take care of some stuff but i'm gonna go back to north america till the end of june in a few weeks. i haven't played cs at all since iem 6 wc, and currently i don't miss it.

it's my decision not to play cs but it's also possible they would have wanted basic to call (which i thought about suggesting in february but didn't have time for due to my vacation). i decided months ago i would spend june in north america and work july and august so that would have fucked the team over really badly. calling for years and years eventually takes a lot of the fun out of cs, i can only imagine how much fun it is to just play and try to shoot off people's heads.

Who will take your place in Winfakt? I mean if you won't come back at all to cs scene, or in the meantime (untill your return to WF). I'm surprised nobody asked you :). The team with dRiim did a fine job at CPH Games, so who will be?

i don't think retired is a right word for cs since you can come back in 5 seconds at any point by opening cs. i've seen jigetus playing the occasional gather sometimes, maybe a few times a week but my brother only plays gathers when i'm not home so he can use my 100hz monitor. neither is active nor looking for a team, which is how i'd put it.

i haven't seen him play but based on highlights etc colon seems pretty good and obviously trace is better. i think nasu is by far better than arcadion, xyp9x and turkizh. how can i know? because cs doesn't have enough time left for them to become better. maybe in cs:go.

i think so, it'd be hard to imagine cs:go not taking over with all the news so people are trying to make the most out of the last few events. i was talking to gtr some days ago and he said the same, no events left so no one is even practicing a lot anymore. seen him playing way more cs:go recently than 1.6

nasu is one of the best finnish players of all time in what CS i have followed but then again, hes old school! he up there with the very best. BUT if u consider his SKILLWISE, yes he may not have as great an aim as a good youngster from today. no disrespect to winfakt, u are one of the teams i LIKE. but lets face it, if ur comparing how u ppl started comin up, its kinda same as wikipediots :)

nasu actually has the best aim out of winfakt (which is something we all agreed on) but he is simply inconsistent due to lack of motivation, in-game roles and hours played (which is tied to motivation). i don't consider myself old school even though i've attended over a 100 events and played competitively since 2004, but that's because i've been around for a super long time. i realize by now i'm easily one of the most experienced players, but there are tons of players who have played for longer than nasu. everyone started similarly, but when we did, no one was claiming us to be better than far superior and more experienced teams over what that person thought was their potential (which is all you're arguing right now, since they do not have results yet). to top it off, as i said, there doesn't seem to be a lot of time left in CS in which case these guys won't have a lot of time left to develop as players.

i never said wikipediots. even if i wrote it that way, i didint mean 2. what i was tryin to say was their road so far has been the success story similar 2 ur teams. they have a superstar along with players with a lot of talent. they can become one of the top teams if they continue on the same way as they have done so far. not all stories end with a happy ending though. take EG for example. just when EG was becoming one of the better teams in the world, u left and they were not the same as they used 2 b.

It's all suspicions..he wasn't caught or anything and it's not obvious. When I saw it I was sure he was a cheater, but after watching demos from CPH I re-watched it and I don't think he cheated at all anymore.
