it's slightly ironic you +1 him saying heaton and walle don't know 2012's CS, then request dunn (who doesn't know who taz is and calls him seven-four-two, and thinks karrigan's nickname is kingbob among other things) to cast with for example, walle or heaton... :D

atleast dunN makes the matches exciting, don't like the monotone style by HeatoN and walle plus the fact that HeatoN has sold himself in my eyes. It's like comparing Antero Mertaranta to Jari Kurri or such.

Well there's absolutely no emotions in their streams, I fell asleep in the finals last time. EDIT: Not kidding, I actually dozed off and started snoring >.> It was a close good finals too, but the commentary... Was so monotone.

Cause I dozed off is a factor of what happened and not an opinion :P. Besides, we are not talking about Rahim here. (What brought him up in this convo?) Would you like a football game where the commentators are always calm and only give insight and not do ANYTHING when they get a goal? There were many clutch moments in the finals of the last tournament, and I had no idea anything happened because their voices were so monotone (stale, dull). They don't have to shout at top of their lungs because of a nade kill, but at least show some emotion. Where do you think the meme "this is sensationaaall!!" for CS came from? Were they annoying for everyone? Everyone loves that clip because of the emotions.

x2, really hoping that it will be in swedish! dunno whey ppl are hating on them tbh. their commentating style is so relaxed and nice, unlike rahim or whoelse who constantly talks nonsense and screaming when gux gets 4 kills vs an eco for instance. When things like that happen it's just normal stuff n thats why walle and heaton dont go crazy about it, and thats what i love about them. and then they always comment on the IGLs calls and the teams playstyle etc. etc. i think tho they were a bit bummed about talking english last tourney they commentated, and if this will be in swedish i think they will be a bit more "TAGGAD" (:

People rather watch a stream with rrrrrrrrrocketjump and stuff, before people who actually know the game. And don't get me wrong, I like Rahim and his streams, but when there is one available with two cs-legends, I'll watch that...

I HOPE someone high up reads this so it maybe comes some changes. LURPPIS, READ THIS PLZ! The thing is that we're all different, and have different taste, moods, and different opinions on how CS should be viewed for a spectator. I really think WHOEVER that is responsible for the spectating modes should make it allowable for people to choose between different streams and HLTV. I prefer HLTV, no matter what. Some others prefer stream. But it's just so sad when you love spectating with HLTV, and than someone decided that you've gotta watch a "720p+" stream that you can't see things proberly with, plus some commentators that only talks about things you don't wanna hear (and you can't turn off the sound because you won't hear in-game sounds either), and on top of all doesn't spectate the things that YOU want to spectate. I mean, really? Why can't I watch HLTV like I've been doing for so long... Kinda makes me wanna watch baywatch instead, and that's just pretty sad for the 1.6 community.

You actually can't figure it out? Tournament organizers make money off of streaming, and any revenue coming in is huge for them. Without streaming CS 1.6 probably wouldn't exist in half the tournaments it still does, so you can either choose to watch the matches that do have HLTV, or watch the streams - if there were no streams, the matches that currently are only streamed wouldn't even exist in the first place. You can make money from streaming via advertisements, and that is the sole reason everything is broadcasted via streams whenever possible.

Imo "could be upset" isnt anywhere near to certain or a good chance. Meant it more like the match might result in a tight 16-13 or even 14-16 if the "finnish pug" gets the important rounds to work on their favor. Kinda like what Coldgame.se(which I recall being a pug with pronax and schneider in it atleast) did to Lemondogs earlier in the Nordic Masters or Last Kings in an overtime 20-22 against SK in Copenhagen.

eestralis has no active players, at least pronax & co just game CS all day. I have no idea who Last Kings are (other than I saw their results at CPH Games), but I also assume they are active. None of the Finns play CS actively, they're all just going for the cruise.

well thats a good argument I can't argue with. rly haven't seen atleast Kind or poc in the scene lately. I think Freon, zabaz and VIDI have played lately in some random tournaments on munkka/TMVG ? And dunno if they're active on imbagather. You might have some inside intel on that.

the lineup they're going with (afaik) is zabaz, vidi, nasu, jigetus and scurk. jigetus has played maybe 20 hours of cs in the past month, i know my brother hasnt even logged in on steam for weeks and i doubt vidi or zabaz are very active either. havent been on irc in months so cant really comment on that but regardless, they are nowhere near as active as pronax & co.

imo 16:11, 16:12 was pretty close to my prediction. 1 or 2 crucial moneysystem resetting / clutch round and both of the maps could've turned around totally to 15-15 or even 14-16

i watched both matches and short of my brother acing 5 more times per map, there was no way they could have won, sk was in the driving seat the entire time as they played as terrorists the second half and could have just bought more if necessary. over 10 rounds =! a close game.

well imo it is, there was a round in the second map where everything coulve turned around with 1 single frag. about the same thing in the first one. true naSu was carrying the team in t half of train and on 2 pistol rounds but still i'm sticking with my opinion.

ok well here's something you can't argue with then: my brother didn't want to win because he couldn't have even played a 3rd map and still made it home in time for work on monday. nasu was the only player who could compete with sk, rest of them just chimed in here and there with single frags to close out some rounds. the thing is, the better teams don't shift to a higher gear until they need to, and that's why so often a clearly worse "team" gets to somewhat close numbers but it doesn't really mean anything.
