Anexis and fnatic to FCL semi-finals
Relegation matches in fnatic PLAY league have finished with Anexis upsetting new WinFakt team and fnatic topping ESC to finalize top four with SK Gaming and eSrael.
The first match of the day saw the Danes of Anexis who just announced their new roster take on WinFakt who joined the Belgian organization roughly a week ago. Although most would pick the former Lemondogs team as the favorite, Anexis was much stronger today.

Snappi's strong play propelled Anexis to a surprise win over WinFakt
First map played was de_tuscan and the Swedes went down 4-11 as defenders. Second half started with WinFakt mounting a start of a comeback but Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström's failed one-on-three attempt allowed Anexis to win 16-12.
Next up was de_mirage and the Danes led by Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer continued their strong play. WinFakt scored two rounds in a row after a 0-6 deficit but it made no difference as Anexis scored 13 rounds that half. Second half was over quickly as well, as Pfeiffer's squad sealed a 2-0 victory overall with a 16-6 win on de_mirage.

fnatic lost the opening rounds on de_dust2 but came back from a 0-4 deficit to a 10-5 lead at half. ESC put up a comeback in the second half and looked to be on the way to winning the map, but Rasmus "Gux" Ståhl's ninja defuse with two kills turned the map around and fnatic escaped with a 16-12 win.
ESC Gaming started de_train strong going up 8-1, but in the end it was fnatic who were happier at half with six rounds as terrorists. The Poles were however stronger in the second half despite of some good play by fnatic, and won 16-12

Gux's ninja defuse potentially turned the series around
The stage was set for a deciding third map where fnatic won the opening pistol round as counter-terrorists on de_inferno and went up 11-4 at half. Filip "NEO" Kubski led his team to a pistol round win of their own but in the end it wasn't enough, as fnatic's B bombsite attack ended the map with a 16-8 score.
