Anexis to meet fnatic in FCL final

Anexis has defeated SK Gaming 2-0 (16-14 on de_train, 16-8 on de_mirage) to secure a spot in the fnatic PLAY league 2012 grand final vs fnatic. SK Gaming will face eSrael for third place.

Action started on de_train where Anexis played a great counter-terrorist side with Nicolaj "Nuggi" Larsen leading the way by acing the pistol round as they jumped to an early 10-1 lead. Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström's calls were not working at all although Marcus "Delpan" Larsson scored multiple entry frags and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg turned a one-one-four situation to a one-on-one with about six bullets in five seconds.

Nuggi was the best player by far on de_train

Larsson scored three frags in their second half pistol round win but Larsen one upped him by scoring four kills on a glock eco to shift the momentum back to Anexis. SK won round three to bring it back, but Larsen's team fought back to bring them map point at 15-9. SK fought back all the way until the very last round, but Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer won a one-on-two situation to win de_train 16-14.

Anexis won the pistol round on de_mirage as well but lost SK's second round buy which led to both teams trading rounds until the very end of the half when the Danes pulled slightly ahead with a 9-6 lead with Jonas "zanoj" Velling leading the way with a score of 24 by the end of the half.

Did Delpan's tardiness affect SK's preparation and performance?

The Danes went on to win the pistol round as well but Johan "face" Klasson's USP heroics gave SK some hope. Anexis proved they were the stronger team once again as terrorists however, as the Swedes kept fighting back but simply didn't have it in them to stop Anexis who went on to score seven rounds and win 16-8 overall.

sorry man, but delpan are more consistent player than nuggi. This match in special, nuggi played very good, but in the history fnatic league cup, delpan and colon were the best awpers.

Great! Happy for Anexis! Finally something different in the final. SK looked weird this whole match, not being able to show their top game at all, or we could also say that SK was as good as always, but Anexis were simply much better this time. Great match. Especially I liked the mirage performance of the Danes and of course Nuggi's action on train... gg in finals...hope they can win it over fnatic....

Some people at hltv are really stupid and ignorant, they watch one game and if one particular player is performing really well like "nuggi" for instance they will just blindly say that he is the best player in the world. You can't judge a player after one match, you have to take other things into consideration before making that claim. OT: GG, anexis played really well, SK lost all the pistolrounds I belive.

you obviously can't compare what i said about anexis 2 months ago with 60% of the current roster to how they are playing right now, but we will see how they are after dreamhack summer and gamegune. i think today sk messed up more rounds than anexis won, lots of weak individual play from a team that relies so much on individual skill.

You're wrong. When he said 3 awp players, he meant that all of them are actually awp players as their main role which is quite true. The case in ESC is different and you can't compare Neo kuben & pasha to trace coloN & Nuggi

If I remember correctly, Nuggi was a rifler when Friis was an awp. Trace is definitely a rifler and not an awper, although he is many times required to use an awp. coloN's main weapon is an AWP I can admit that. So overall it's mostly 2 backup awpers and 1 main awp in that lineup.

SK brought trace instead of Delpan in order to take the AWP role, and if my memory is ok he was also the AWP player of mTw until they disbanded. You can't take away from Nuggi the main AWP role just because Friis was the main AWP back then when he played for TCM ... Nuggi's main weapon is AWP no doubt .. he's a great rifler as well, but he's an AWP player. Trust me that even coloN would act as 2nd AWP player while playing with Friis .. that means nothing.

Yeah but it's well known that trace's main weapons are rifles. It was said for years, and mTw's main awp was Sunde and trace took the role after he was kicked. I do not believe this was his choice in the matter, he was always taken in as an awp. So out of those 3 "awpers", I still believe that only 2 of them are actual awpers. That is considering Nuggi is a main awper.
