SHOUW joins Phantoms

Former k1ck player Rui "SHOUW" Reis has joined Phantoms after being a stand-in for the team at xfunction Fraglider Cup by CJM in Porto last weekend.

Reis had been a long time member in k1ck, the flagship team of Portugal but decided to go inactive in late 2011 due to not having enough time for Counter-Strike on top of his work schedule.

SHOUW steps back into competitive Counter-Strike

Although he originally joined madjicK on March 1 and attended EPT4 with them, he decided to attend last weekend's tournament with Phantoms after André "keznitt" Morais decided to go inactive due to lack of motivation.

With Reis on the team, Phantoms placed 5-8th at xfunction Fraglider Cup by CJM after defeating his old team madjicK in the group stage to top group C. They also defeated Portuguese equilibrium 2-0 in playoffs before falling 1-2 against zNation in a close series.

Rui "SHOUW" Reis

Although they don't currently have any events planned, Portuguese teams have often made the trip to GameGune so that is a possibility for Phantoms on July 26-29.

true, xAims and ririo are both good players too, but i think that keznit haves more experience of profissional counter-strike, but was keznitt decision. GL SHOUW

LOL weapoN is the best portuguese awp easily, he only needs motivation and practice. fox said himself that weapoN is better than him with the awp.

rmn is brutal indeed and top3 individually in our country but shouw is the only player ive seen in my life being as strong as fox. With the motivation, dzt may have just gotten the second best portuguese player. Phantoms needed: -dzt as their leader -Ehz and kez highly motivated -An outstanding player -1 "youngster" to evolve Gaining Shouw at the cost of Kez will put all the weight on Ririo and xAims, the 2 "youngsters". Imo, if next k1ck battle doesnt come close, heads shall roll. Hated both Ririo and xAims on last tournment, hope they put their shit together and learn what a great oportunity they have instead of just dribbling away with the pressure. Both can be monsters and none is turning games around.

i disagree, i think dzt is an excellent player and in overal is better than gax,spekz,weapon but in my opinion his awp is worst than spekz,gax or weapon awp soz for english!

sorry for my ignorance, but where the hell is SPECTRUM ? :P I remember of him in Phantoms, and his little passage in K1CK. I loved to see him playing.
