swag's ESEA Invite demo pack

We present you a demo pack featuring all POV demos of Maximum Effort star Braxton "swag" Pierce who led all players in statistics at the ESEA Invite Season 11 finals.

Despite of being only fifteen years old, Pierce has shown enormous talent at the three ESEA finals events he has attended with his team Maximum Effort. After barely falling short against EG at the season nine finals, he has secured two championships for his team in seasons ten and eleven.

After topping both FPR and ADR for last season, many expected his numbers to drop when paired up with Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert this season. However, Pierce did not disappoint, repeating his rating (1.33), FPR (0.88) and ADR (92.8) topping performance and also winning the most (4) one-versus-two situations, having the fourth highest headshot percentage (0.179), getting the most overall (247) and AK47 (134) frags. He also had fifth most assists and ended with a +79 K/D ratio.

swag once again proves he's a top player in North America

Although the vast majority of POV demos were not saved from the ESEA Invite Season 11 finals, we managed to secure all of Pierce's demos thanks to ESEA. His most memorable performance came in the consolidatïon final where he combined for a score of 50/12 for +38, a rating of 2.35 and a massive 1,390 FPR.

You can find all of Braxton "swag" Pierce's POV demos from ESEA Invite Season 11 Finals by clicking herePierce's team Maximum Effort is still without a sponsor so if you're interested in partnering up with the best team in North America, you can contact them via e-mail.

Average Damage per Round. It is like the old gamesense on gotfrag, where the damage is capped. For instance in a pub server, an awp headshot is something like 440+ damage, on ESEA all damage is capped at 100. Also, if an enemy has 1 hp and you kill him, you only get credited for 1 hp of damage. FPR (frags per round) is the same thing as hltv.orgs KPR (kills per round)

Is this to get a more accurate score of skill? Because a few nades vs eco rounds will throw that statistic way off.

not really, its taken over every round of the game and averaged together. doing like 120 dmg on one eco round wont help you if you can't get kills on gun rounds

120dmg? A properly placed nade can do 300 damage easily. Basically any fast eco ace will give you ~500 But this was a dumb thing for me to argue about, statistics in game cannot be measured properly unless you somehow ignore the eco frags which is pretty much impossible. I'm just saying that this statistic is not much better than a normal frag statistic. Another flaw with it would be, you can theoretically make five amazing awp shots and end up doing 5 damage.

times change, i didn't start playing until i was 15 (didn't even have a pc until 14, just a playstation) but nowadays people start playing cs when they're younger. similar to n0thing, his older brother started playing years and years ago and got him playing the game. if your older brother (whether or not one exists or not) told you when you were 10 years old that you could make money playing a video game, you might have wanted to play it a bit earlier too, can't really compare the two. besides, it's not like he can't play football, basketball or whatever it is he's the most interested in, while playing cs

The times have not changed in the last 5-10 years in this direction. The factors that determine whether you end up being a person who goes out and plays sports or one that plays video games is determined by: Where you live Your friends Your parents Coincidence Economy Siblings Genes Endless amounts of random factors The factors that lead to a person going "Well, kids, back in my day(...)what is the world coming to!?" based on a person they know nothing about and thinking that it's because times have somehow changed: Ignorance

The truth of it is... If he can keep his grades up and hes having fun what difference does it make? It's better he wastes his time on a video game at 15 years old rather than 18-20's. He's 15. Its funny we never mention how 20something year olds waste time playing rather than going to college or getting a career started. But a 15 year old doesn't have any time to waste?

i don't really get your idea, i mean, i've been playing cs for like 10 years already in a "top" level here in my country (watch out for the "" cause argentina hardly has any top level to be sincere), and even though i have to practice with my team during night (and in argentina we are used to play really late, from like 23pm to 3am or even more) i to go to work, study, play soccer (only in weekends), go out with my girl i mean, of course im not payed to play so during daytime i dont even touch cs, but at night it's always fun to join my teamspeak channel and chat with my teammates and get to play some matches. there's no need to "quit" life if you wanna play cs competitively

i know im not a pro, CS in argentina is really far away of having any pro team, as nobody (i mean NOBODY) has ever been paid for playing here, so yeah, playing in this country takes A LOT from players.

You can easily tell from the demos that NA teams are so much worse than Europeans. He's a very talented player but he couldn't do shit against the top teams around here

"15 Year Old CS 1.6 Prodigy" if he was a prodigy he would have 6 months of 1.6 under his belt.. he has 8 years. the rate at which one could learn is immensely accelerated during the age of adolescence. starting with a fresh brain untainted by influence, memories, habits, etc is a massive advantage when learning. if they do get picked up by a sponsor and sent out for an intl event or two, they're gonna get slaughtered. there is a learning curve to overcome there as well, regardless of how skilled or talented you are. I'd rather see the 08 lineup of EG go to battle, than 100%.
