ECL 2012 season 3 qualifier finished

ECL 2012 season 3 online qualifier has finished with TyLoo, ZINCTHAI GAMING, ETeng and New4 qualifying for the finals in Beijing later this month.

Online qualification stage featured two groups of eight teams, both of which saw the two top placing teams advance to the finals. In each group one of the teams finished their run undefeated, while the other teams had closer competition.

In group A, ETeng managed to finish with a 7-0 record with their only close matches coming in a 16-13 win over New4 on de_mirage. It was similar for TyLoo in group B, as only c63d, who scored 12 rounds on de_nuke, managed to hit double digits.

First group of the two saw New4 finish with a 6-1 record and advance over violent and Agfox, both of whom scored four wins. Former MI5 squad now called ZINCTHAI GAMING opened up with a 1-16 loss against EDCC, but then defeated rest of their competition apart from TyLoo and advanced with a 5-2 record over H5's 4-3.

The finals event held at Chinese National E-Sports Arena in Beijing, China on August 17-19. TyLoo managed to win the inaugural 2012 season while ETeng scored the season two win and are the reigning champions.

ECL 2012 season 3 prize distribution:

2. 4,000 RMB (~510€)
3. 2,000 RMB (~255€)
4. 1,000 RMB  (~125€)
