Playing Ducks pickup ex-nEophyte

Germany-based organization Playing Ducks has picked up the former nEophyte team following, as the team puts it, broken promises about a trip to GameGune.

Playing Ducks has previously had Czech players in their lineup, when Tomáš "oskar" Štastný and Jonáš "jonz" Rech played with the team last year in the German ESL Pro Series.

The duo now returns to Playing Ducks with the rest of their team mates from nEophyte. The move is due to the players based on nEophyte failing to send them to GameGune, despite promises about sending them.

Joining up with Playing Ducks also sees the team commit to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but will continue playing Counter-Strike 1.6.

oskar heads back to Playing Ducks

Rech gave us the following statement about the move to Playing Ducks:

"I'd like to thank Playing ducks for giving us this great opportunity to continue with what we love, competetive gaming, in the up and coming game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Me and my team will practice to put up great results, and to be a team to reckon with in the upcoming events. Also a special shoutout to TteSports, Kaspersky and the rest for sponsoring ducks, our manager Alex for making this move possible and to all of our fans."

Representing Playing Ducks are:

Tomáš "oskar" Štastný
Jonáš "jonz" Rech
David "gcko" Hála
Karel "fredi" Královec
Jan "johan" Juráň

The team played in the Inuria Summer Championship where they topped the group in front of DELTA and BEASTS. They managed to win against TMVG in the first round of the playoffs, but fell against Wikipediots in the quarter-final after a great three map series with overtime on the last map.

we scrim a lot the last days here and its feels like i said..i dont know maybe in a tournament mixed css/1.6 teams will fail...but the main objective is to attract Call Of Duty and Battlefield player and to create a common fps community...those guys hold mouse 1 from US the made it to semi finals and they are a cod team

All these 1.6 teams make the switch to GO without changing members will be interesting to watch. Surely there will be some good 1.6 players who are mediocre/bad at GO and vice versa. It will be interesting to see who gets dropped and who gets picked up as more people play GO and show their skill.
