ESWC NA finals this weekend
North American Counter-Strke: Global Offensive ESWC pre-qualifier has finished with the finals taking place this coming weekend in Seattle, WA where the sole representative will be found for the finals in Paris.
One team from each CS:S and CS 1.6 was directly invited to the finals held at PAX Prime. The invited CS:S squad is Dynamic, who have won eight seasons of ESEA Invite and utterly dominated North America. They have however seen Salvatore "Volcano" Garozzo retire from competitive gaming with Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir replacing him.

n0thing misses out on a chance at ESWC 2012 due to partner in crime swag's young age
The invited CS 1.6 side is Maximum Effort who won the last two ESEA Invite seasons in CS 1.6. 100% lost both Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert and Braxton "swag" Pierce to rival teams and Brennan "ele1Nt" Webster did not make the switch to CS:GO though, forcing them to make changes. They teamed up with three players from Area51, and have decided to stick with the name for their sponsorship deal.
ESWC online qualifier featured hundreds of hopeful groups of five or more signing up to compete. In the end, former CS:S team Hold Mouse One and Gilbert and Pierce's Flaming Rainbows prevailed, but due to Pierce not being old enough to attend the finals, their spot was handed down to another CS:S based team, Murder Inc.
