Virtus.pro CS:GO tourney announced

Virtus.pro has announced the final participants' list for its own Counter-Strike: Global Offensive online tournament.

The tournament, called CS:GO Premiership, will consist of 10 Russian teams, who will battle it out for the first prize of $300.

With the pre-qualifier coming to an end last week, the names of the final three participants have been determined, with the trio joining the seven teams who were invited by the tournament organisation.

Below you can find the names of the 10 teams who will square off in the tournament, which will kick off on September 4.

The Virtus,pro CS:GO Premiership will begin with a group stage in which every team will play each other, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals.

The schedule for the tournament is the following:

First Round - September 4
Second round - September 6
Third Round - September 11
Fourth round - September 13
Fifth round - September 18
Sixth round - September 20
Seventh round - September 25
Eighth round - September 27
Ninth round - October 2
First semi-final - October 9
Second semi-final - October 11
Third Place - October 16
Final - October 18

I don't even care about CrossFire (shit game filled with stupid kids and hackers tbh), but teams from other games would delite source and 1.6 and make GO worth watching imo

Why do you guys complain about an organisation giving out money to other teams? I don't get it. you guys scream like it's christmas if fnatic announces $300 1.6 cups. Imo it's good.

cs:go is droping players to fast on the day the game got released it got to 55,000 players playing at the same time and now it barely stay in the top10 most played today on steam, it has currently day 2 of september 2012 16:06, 30,000 players playing witha max today of 31,000 while counter strike 1.6 has drop to 25, 000 the day cs:go was released it now have 49,466 witha max of 50,564 today so the numbers speak by iteself, cs go will fall

i have played cs 1.6 for 4 years last year i stoped and start playing lol wich i regret for the only reason that i did not enjoy the last year of 1.6, after a year i tryed to go back to 1.6 when i find out that all cs gather here are dead or pretty much dead only pubs to play, i played cs:go, and for me thats not a game its bug, even source feels better
