NGL-One Qualifier - The two participants found

Two new participants for the prestigious league, NGL-One were to be found this weekend. Eight of the remaning European teams was gathered to fight for the two spots.

The qualifier consisted of eight great teams. Here are the teams along with their respective lineups:

NiP - face, walle, miniw, Tentpole & HeatoN
Blank (former Begrip) - JAEGARN, threat, niko, Rwa, azl & get
theclan (former H2k) - KK, moRf4r, zone, whimp & Paddy
yourname - telli, pzyclone, woodi, walth & trace (standin)
emuLate - R!iGo-, ioRek, Mat, Harts & mSX
Dignitas - Ady, Harriman, RattlesnK, Reality & wilzOOO
Begrip - hooch, ex, diNGo, Flatra & Xenitron
ZYKON - fleks, loomit, Roman R., beist & madferret

The eight teams started out with the first round in the upperbracket this Friday. It quickly turned out, who really wanted these two spots. NiP seemed on fire, and did not give many rounds away without a fight. Advancing to the second round of the upperbracket was, NiP, theclan, yourname and Begrip.
At the end of day two, only three teams were left, with teams like Begrip and emuLate being eliminated. Left were three Scandinavian teams. In the Consolidation final, yourname was waiting for their opponent. First up was the upperbracket final, which took place on de_train:

NiP started as T, and played a really strong T side. They did not give any easy rounds away, and had a well playing face, that really made it difficult for theclan to retake those bombspots. NiP locked the first half down 10:5. The second half had NiP written all over it, NiP did not show any signs of weakness and took the second half 6:4. NiP thereby took one of the two spots, and are ready for the upcoming NGL-One Season 4.

The last participant should be found in the Consolidation final. Yet again the two Danish teams were facing each other, although this time on a different map. The Consolidation final was played on de_nuke:

It is without doubt that the teams knew how their opponents played, and de_nuke did not make it any easier for both of them. First half started with yourname as CT and theclan as T. It should have been yournames half, theclan really made it hard for them. But every now and then, trace, made it hard for theclan. Unfortunatly trace couldn't stop them one man, and theclan locked the first side 8:7.
Second half with theclan as CT, didn't turn out in advantage for yourname. The first 7 rounds went to theclan, helped by a well playing zone. yourname won the next round, but didn't make that much of a difference, theclan took the last round they needed and won the CT side 7:1. theclan will be joining NiP in the fourth season of NGL-One.
