pita returns for CS:GO with Team X

Former fnatic member Faruk "pita" Pita has returned from inactivity to form a CS:GO team.

Another Swedish CS:GO team has seen the light, as Team X today surfaced with former fnatic, WinFakt and ESC members. Announcing his retirement from fnatic in January, Faruk "pita" Pita has been off the radar for quite some time.

He made an appearance at DreamHack Summer, but other then that, he has not been much around. He will now, as he together with former team mates formed a CS:GO team.

pita makes return for CS:GO

Joining him is the former WinFakt member Jim "zneel" Andersson, and his team mates from the times in RG-Esports, Markus "pronax" Wallsten and Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren. Last man in the lineup is Alexander "rdl" Redl, who up until recently was a member of mTw's CS:S team, but was not included in the CS:GO plans.

Team X concist of the following five:

Bosnia and Herzegovina Faruk "pita" Pita
Sweden Jim "zneel" Andersson
Sweden Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Sweden Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren
Sweden Alexander "rdl" Redl

The team will be attending Fragbite SteelSeries GO this weekend and state they strive to attend a lot of events in the future. Currently without a home, the team can be contacted via [email protected].

He can say who he thinks is better until there are results that prove otherwise. It's like saying Floyd Mayweather > Manny Pacquiao or vice versa. They've never fought, and they're both amazing, so at this point it's just opinion. Once they play each other it will be different.

the CS pro scene is getting revived by CSGO , all 1.6 has left is pub players ....LOTS of them, but still pub players .... 1.6 is as dead as quakelive is, they AREN'T DEAD, they just don't have a pro scene , CSGO has a pro scene, thefore CSGO is getting picked up by tournaments .....it's as simple as that

Obviously they have some choice. Nobody willingly does something they absolutely hate. I'm sure the feeling of winning is still there along with other aspects all cs' share. I'm so tired of seeing people jump to the stupid conclusion you just made.... It's completely illogical

Not everybody has a good machine to run GO at 100 FPS I updated my PC but i'm still getting 60 FPS Sorry for being poor > CSGO has a pro scene, thefore CSGO is getting picked up by tournaments CSGO has a pro scene; agreed but it should be seen that the pro teams came AFTER the tourneys were announced It really is simple Not a GO hater, just spectating

i dont think CSGO is better than 1.6 either , but i don't think it's shit i've played CS since 2001 , trust me ...it gets boring after a while :( i'm almost dissapointed tournaments are already dropping the molotov ...it could of added some new tactics to the game if balanced a bit more ...i think get_right's idea of making it cost 400 and making it exclude the HE grenade if bought was good ...also nerf the slowing effect

without a larger amount of spectators, it doesn't matter, GO will fail..it'll only work if almost all of the 1.6 and Source switch spectators and fans make the game popular, not just players

No top player have ever said that go is much better than 1.6, they have never said its better even. They say that the game is better for the competetive gamers. And that in the end of 1.6 have been too simple, its just that you gotta kill the person the secound you see him. Instead of some real tactics as it was in the begining of 1.6 That is f0rest opinion why he switched to Cs:go and sure many others. That it is for the money doesnt really matter because you really dont get rich on playing cs anyway, and its easier for them to make money by just stopping playing and start working with a gaming gear company like qpad or steelseries. So that it is for the money is just a silly exuse by the public gamers of 1.6. 1.6 will always be in the heart of the players that have been into cs for a long time, but its time to move on, and since valve for once is working with gamers to make the game better i hope that the game can be just as good as 1.6.

For the time being yes, but the professional scene will only sustain if the game is liked by people in general. If there are no viewers, you can play for money all you want, it will not succeed. At the moment, GO is not enjoyable nor doe it impress the majority of the public. The switch of the professional scene was due to panic and nothing else. they panicked by the fact that 1.6's competitive scene was dying and they could no longer earn a living and switched to the best possible alternative. Right now, they are at a stage where they are trying to convince the general public to 'like' them and the game that they play so that they can manage to sustain their living. But as mentioned earlier, it doesn't seem to be the case as it is not an enjoyable game and not liked by the majority either. The professional scene you refer to is just temporary and may possibly fade out soon. That explains the professional players asking the public to follow them, desperately. Saying that the pro scene is getting revived by GO is premature. This is a 'panic mode' where they chose the best available alternative mainly revolving around the major factor, money. GO will most likely die out soon as the majority of people don't find it enjoyable and don't seem keen to carry on playing as you may have noticed by the dropping stats on Steam.

CS:GO is really on the way when it comes to teams. Now if Valve could only get their shit together and make it less of a "run around shooting to get random kills"-game like all other fps titles, this could actually be good.

How can you conclude that I'm fanboy? Now I will tell you my opinion before I do something... Players which moved from CS 1.6 to CS:GO are noobs on CS 1.6, for example f0rest and GeT_RiGhT. They sucked ESC's, Na`Vi's, fnatic's balls, then SK Gaming disbanded and they won't play this crappy game anymore, auhhh yeah, how something that you play more than 7 years and you like this, sorry not like - love can suddenly get bored you? So... Money talks, also HeatoN quit ZOWIE because "they" offered him more money and he gets a lot of $ to say: CS:GO will be bigger!" Yes sure but did you see STEAM stats? Every day CS:GO has less and less players... But maybe CS:GO will be bigger as long there are kids like you which conclude game on based graphics will buy it. No one knows And this is my last post in CS:GO area, I'm filtering this game right now, I don't care about pros, I will play this game because I love it. Have a nice night Revl1s.

Actually I'm cba to answer to patriotic kids, but meh. "Players which moved from CS 1.6 to CS:GO are noobs on CS 1.6" You're so butthurt, it's unreal. Not gonna start arguing with you... The rest of your text doesn't make any kind of human sense. bye.

Actually, the thing is. Kids like you keep playing 1.6 and belive it will rise again. Everybody who wants to play competitively and wants to earn something by playing plays csgo. Every single guy who can do some damage and are in a top team already switched or will switch. Kids like you that cant afford or have a shitty toaster as a cpu will keep playing 1.6 and trashtalk csgo. Thats about it.

moving to csgo is the right thing to do. obviously there aren't going to be an amazing tournaments in cs 1.6 anymore and the excitement of attending tournaments in a highly competitive game with lots of money at stake is amazing (cpl, eswc times). csgo might suck but it's the only way to keep the scene alive now all the major tournaments dropped cs 1.6. no one forces anyone to move to csgo but if you want competition, the closest thing to cs1.6 is csgo.
