KerchNET pull out of PGS
KerchNET have announced that they have decided against attending the ProGamerSeries (PGS) event in Oporto.
The Ukrainian team, who recently won the ASUS Summer Cup, had been one of the first sides confirmed at the €15,000 tournament, being joined by fellow countrymen Natus Vincere last week.
However, KerchNET have now been forced to cancel their attendance as the organisation would not be able to finance the team's trip to Portugal.
"We want to announce that our team will not attend PGS event due to some financial issues," KerchNET captain Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy said.
"It is a big blow for our team, since we had huge expectations for this tournament."
Meanwhile, the PGS organisers have confirmed that KerchNET will be replaced by exotic, who have reached the quarter-finals in HLTV.org's first online qualifier for DreamHack Bucharest and have the following roster:
Tiago "dzt" Gonçalves
Diogo "Ririo" Aguiar
João "ehz" Monteiro
João "KillDream" Ferreira
Rui "SHOUW" Reis
With this change, the participants' list for PGS currently looks as follows:
