VG first despite ASES scare
VeryGames will go through Group B in first place despite being held to a 15-15 draw in the last match against ASES.
Following k1ck's 16-1 thrashing of DN-Gaming in their last group match, VeryGames knew they had to win their game, or at least secure a draw, to prevent a three-way tie at the top.
But after VG's comfortable victories against DN and k1ck, no one expected that the French side would have trouble against the former Spanish CS:Source squad.
ASES came out very strongly as Terrorist in the first half and even went as far as to take an impressive 9-3 lead, eventually conceding the last three rounds before the teams switched sides.

ASES will go home despite VG stalemate
It was expected that VG would take control of the match after the break, but ASES went on to take the score to 15-12. But in the end, VG's experience proved the difference as they won the last three rounds once again to rescue a point.
