MLG opens $9,000 ladder
Major League Gaming (MLG) has announced the creation of a $9,000 team ladder for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
MLG is mostly known for its LAN events across the United States and Canada, with Starcraft II, League of Legends and Soul Calibur V some of the games that are currently part of the Pro Circuit.
However, several other games are being played as part of the MLG's Online Circuit, with CS:GO now being added to the roster.
Besides the team tournament, a 1on1 ladder has also been created, featuring $1,000 in prizes.
This could be a major breakthrough for the North American CS:GO scene, as if the game becomes widely popular, chances are that it will be included in the Pro Circuit.
Teams and players who wish to sign up for these two ladders can do so by going here. Stay tuned to HLTV.org for more informations about these tournaments.
