Virtus.pro pull out of PGS

Virtus.pro have decided to pull out of the ProGamerSeries (PGS) event later in the week in Portugal.

The Russian team had been one of the first teams to be confirmed at PGS, but their name is no longer seen on the Portuguese event's official webpage.

Virtus have not yet stated what made them withdraw from the tournament, but HLTV.org knows that the team is already playing CS:GO.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Portuguese side Team Corsair will take the last spot in Group B, where they will be joining Natus Vincere, Anexis and x-function.

The tournament schedule has also been released, so feel free to create your Dreamteam to compete with other HLTV.org users!

Your opinion. I'm still more excited to see fnatic vs Navi in 1.6 than any CS:GO match-up. Also I'm curios how strong P2P with neo is. Let us enjoy these last international 1.6 tournaments.

I don't really get the point. CS 1.6 and CS:GO are not competing, it is pretty obvious CS:GO has a larger competive scene now. But I don't think CS:GO will get bigger just because 1.6 is dying. Most of the remaining 1.6 players are not gonna move to CS:GO.
