PGS MSI CS:GO participants

The ProGamerSeries (PGS) organisers have unveiled the participants' list for the CS:GO tournament, sponsored by MSI.

The competition was initially supposed to feature eight teams, but only six sides, all Portuguese, signed up, most likely because the event will be played in four days.

Instead of the traditional group stage, PGS will kick off with a round-robin in which every team will play against each other, with the top four progressing to the semi-finals.

k1ck, who finished 3rd-4th at DreamHack Valencia, are highly favoured to win the tournament, but they are wary of the threat posed by FM SAPPHIRE, who finished second in the EMS qualifier.

Eh, that's not entirely true. These are the lineups: K1CK: fox, n3w, Fyx, iNsideR, mUt FM Sapphire!: Frizen, emotioN, ziNHE, SAM, juri (copy pasted from kausen's post) n3w, Fyx used to play css.

Never followed the CSS scene, but I've heard quite a few portuguese players are known outside of Portugal, true? Edit: Other than the current K1CK & FM players.

Yeh a lot of Portugese players were known because a lot of people followed XLParty, where the last one had a British mix team who went over and met quite a few Portugese players.
