fm.TOXiC win ESWC UK over mouz

The British qualifier for ESWC 2012's CS:GO tournament has finished with fm.TOXiC proving to be the best in the UK by defeating mousesports 2-0 (16-14, 16-9) in the grand finals.

mousesports had a scare in the semi-finals against CRG (16-10, 13-16, 16-12) after knocking out 786 in the quarter-finals, but still came into the grand final as favorites backed by a number one seed.

Number three seed fm.TOXiC qualified for the finals with two 2-0 wins over eNigma and aliquo, following 4Kings bowing out versus the latter in a close 1-2 matches after losing Aaron "AaroN" Hemmings to mTw.

Former mTw member Brandon "weber" Weber would have the last laugh though, as his team turned a 5-10 deficit as Terrorists on de_train_se into a clutch 16-14 victory which saw a mousesports player crash and both teams unable to pause the game.

fm.TOXiC won the opening pistol round on de_inferno_se as well, but mouz won a save round on round three. They would go up 5-3 before the Copenhagen Games winners put up a brick wall, finishing the half ahead 9-6.

What ended up being the final half to the grand final could be an example of why both teams having a stand-in made a difference, as mouz couldn't put up a single round while fm.TOXiC swept them 10-0 for a 16-9 win.

ESWC UK qualifier final standings:

1. fm.TOXiC - paid trip to ESWC 2012
2. mousesports
3-4. aliquo
3-4. CRG

This also means mousesports will not be in attendance at ESWC 2012 unless they receive one of the three wildcard invitations. Current list of participants now stands at:

huh? pita,pronax,zneel and lidde all of them(dont realy know bout lidde)have been in the top of 1.pita with fnatic,zneel with lions pronax with esc.sc.dont know about rdl in source but from what i have seen he is a good GO player
