mTw release two; quit EPS

mTw have announced that they have parted company with Aaron "AaroN" Hemmings and Anil "cLy" Gülec, while dropping out of EPS Germany.

mTw were a household name in the CS:Source scene and entered this EPS season as champions, but mixed results have seen them undergo a series of roster changes in the last two months.

Hemmings and Gülec had been the latest additions to mTw's line-up, but they have now been given their marching orders as the team will take a break in order to find a stable solution.

As such, mTw have dropped out of the EPS Germany, a decision which could also leave them out of the next season in case the ESL decides to punish them for the move.

mTw were sitting in sixth place in the league, with only three victories from six games following defeats to ALTERNATE, GAMED.DE and iPLAY.

A statement issued by the remaining three players in mTw, Andre "nooky" Utesch, George "hudzG" Hoskins and Joshua "steel" Nissan, on all the roster changes that have been made can be found on the team's website by going here.

Hemmings has apparently found a new team already, having joined mouz.UK's team for the ESL Major Series, although the Germany-based organisation has yet to comment on this matter.

These changes leave mTw with the following three players:

Andre "nooky" Utesch
George "hudzG" Hoskins
Joshua "steel" Nissan

mTw are really killing themselves. At this point, they're probably better off releasing everyone and forming a new team from scratch (or re-signing their original line-up and sticking with them).

These three guys are probably the only ones that did something for mTw, especially steel. Glad the other two got released, they were horrible

They did very stupid thing - they replaced face to AaroN. I am not fanboy, i just saw face in action, and he never been worse than this trio. As i know they also tried to use Delpan as fifth. In my opinion line-up with face and Delpan can be very perspective, if it does have much time to practice.

Over the course of almost two months, he was still surprised how fast the enemy could be in his face. More to the point, near the end of his time on the team, it was apparent that he wasn't as motivated as the rest of the team. He only came on when it was time to practice. As soon as practice was over, he left teamspeak. He spent no time on the server to learn on his own. He did not get accustomed to the physics of the smokes or flashes despite frequent updates constantly changing the grenades.

Why do you think the 10 players before him was kicked? It has nothing to do with weber, rdl, face, aaron, cajun, stinger or wilzo (think that's all since last winter - might have forgotten one or two). It has to do with who is on the team now and not the players who got kicked. It comes down to poor management and leading-skills.

Maybe thats true. But still the main reason face was shown the door because he didn't do as much as expected. I really hope mTw will find those 2 players which they need and start playing serious

I've played some mixes against you and it was a constant use of 'say' command by you insulting me and my partners when we were completely quiet without saying anything. Unfortunately you're not alone, several players from the UK loves to trashtalk during matches. I remember ALTERNATE been insulted by a top UK team during an official match. Is the way your community is. A lot of childish behavior and no respect for anyone. Of course, there is also a group of players that respect and behave like an ordinary person.

Wow... the statement from nooky, hudzG, and steel is one of the most uppity, elitist things I've ever read. I no longer feel bad for weber, rdl, face, cLy, and AaroN; they're better off not playing with these snobs.

The statement by mTw is great. Never before have I seen a team give out so many excuses for why they can't keep a player for more than a few weeks. They've had experience, up and coming talent, and every type of player you could possibly want yet can't find the right players. This is the current players problem, no one else. mTw should just get rid. Hudgz has the talent to make a top team, but with nooky around that will never happen, he will always be the worst performing player and they cannot get rid of him. Steel is probably one of the top GO players right now, but there have always been problems with this guy having followed the American scene for many years, he's well known as being a rager and to not get on well with others.

But knowing and watching steel for so long i can say his only issue here in the states was that he couldn't find anyone as dedicated as he is, the fact the he moved to Europe and its playing as well as he does is a testament to his ambition.

Former teammates of face has said that he is really dumb ingame, so if he wasn't able or willing to get his aim to the level of what is was in 1.6 they probably didn't think it was the best idea to play with him. Also, he wasn't a part of f0rest and GeT_RiGhT's team even though they played with him for ages.
