Play Dreamteam for ESWC

With ESWC just around the corner, we have modified Dreamteam to work for Counter Strike: Global Offensive tournaments, meaning that you will be able to make your spectating experience a little bit more exciting by participating in our fantasy game.

The first major CS:GO tournament is only a few days away and we at HLTV.org have been preparing for it in every way, including updating our Dreamteam game to work with the new CS version. If you are unfamiliar with what this is all about, read our Dreamteam introduction here.

During November 2-4 ten teams will be fighting it out at the Electronic Sports World Cup in Paris, France for a share of the $20,000 prize purse. NiP will be the main favorites for the title, but they will first have to get out of a very tough group that contains mousesports, Area51 and ProGaming.TD. Obviously there is one team missing in Dreamteam at this moment, as the French participant will only be known the day before the main tournament starts, but we will add that team to the game as soon as possible.

Also, we must mention that the player prices are based on a very small specimen of stats that we've collected in CS:GO so far, so they do not necessarily represent realistic values. The maximum price was capped at 125,000 in order to make all players affordable and we have added a little extra start money, so you should be able to make some interesting combinations.

The tournament schedule still hasn't been officially released, but our plan is to open the transfer market at the end of each day, so make sure to take that into account and re-check your team after we release our viewer's guide.

We will announce which prizes are at stake later, but in the meantime you can create your Dreamteam by going here. Make sure to tell your friends about it too, so you can create private leagues and compete between each other, if nothing else, then at least for bragging rights.
