ESC upset Anexis, fm.TOXiC over n!
ESC Gaming has once again proved their doubters wrong, this time upsetting Danish Anexis 16-12 on de_inferno_se. fm.TOXiC also got their first win on the same map, as n!faculty fell short against the Brits 16-8.
ESC started their terrorist side on de_inferno_se by attacking the B bombsite where Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski's three Desert Eagle kills allowed his team to win the round.
Anexis won round four due to expiring time, but then lost the following round to ESC's A attack and were forced to save. The Danes' save round was uneventful, but their aggressive push down middle got them round eight.
After ESC successfully took A in round nine, Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen's three early kills with his saved weapon but ESC's Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski scored four frags to allow them to clinch the round.
The eleventh round was once again ESC's, and the former HastaLaVista team saved the next one, as the two time ESWC champions extended their lead to 10-2. At that point ESC ran out of gas, as Anexis' solid play allowed them back within five.
Jarząbkowski's aggressive counter-terrorist pistol push allowed him to pick up two early kills, but Anexis' usual B pistol won them the round, and the two following save rounds to all of a sudden bring them to 8-10.

NEO & co were too strong for Anexis to handle
The Danes went for another B attack on fourth round, but ESC easily stopped it. This made Anexis attack A next, and while ESC fought off the early attack and got down to a favorable two-on-two, Casper "ruggah" Due's two frags gave them the round.
Filip "NEO" Kubski scored two Mag7 kills on the next save, and Cybulski's two M4A4 frags couldn't secure them the next round, as Jacob "Pimp" Winneche clutched a one-on-one with six health points.
Anexis gained their first lead next despite Kubski's early Mag7 kill, but Jarząbkowski's four M4A4 kills tied it the game up at twelve. Next round saw Anexis attack A, and with teams trading frags by middle, Kubski won a one-on-one in the end.
The Danish side was forced to save then, as ESC extended their lead to 14-12 without losing members. Anexis's next attack towards A seemed like it was going to work, but Kubski clinched another victory in a one-on-two situation.
René "cajunb" Borg's two kills almost gave Anexis another chance to tie the game, but in the end it was Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas who ended the game with a kill on Bord, giving ESC their first match win at ESWC 2012 with a score of 16-12.

At the same time n!faculty struggled against British fm.TOXiC on the same map, de_inferno_se. After keeping the game even until each team reached four, the Brits could no longer be caged.
They went on to finish the terrorist half with seven straight round wins, pushing the score to 11-4 at half. They won the pistol round as counter-terrorists as well, further extending their lead to 14-4.
n!faculty won the next round, but faltered on fm.TOXiC's save round, as they forced game point. Ultimately the Germans scored three additional rounds, but went onto lose 8-16.
