ELTZ and PRESTIJ qualify for ASUS

One of the three ASUS Autumn qualifiers finished last weekend with two Russian sides ELTZ and PRESTIJ qualifying for ASUS Final Battle of the Year.

Teams like AJURI, RIGID, 97club, Place2Play.ru Maverick and DooM participated in last weekend's qualifier, but in the end it was two Russian teams who managed to top the competition.


Zeus' Na`Vi are favorites to win the Final Battle of the Year 

Two more qualifiers are set to take place on November 17-18 and November 24-25 with three more spots being given away, two this weekend and the last one during DreamHack Winter.

ASUS Autumn qualifier #1 final standings:

1. Russia ELTZ
2. Russia PRESTIJ
3-4. Bulgaria DooM
3-4. Russia HH
5-8. Russia Place2Play.ru
5-8. Ukraine PTR
5-8. Russia EDEN
5-8. Russia NGK

ASUS Final Battle of the Year will have over $15,000 in prizes and will be held on December 13-16 in Kiev's CyberSports ARENA in Ukraine. With the following eight teams now qualifier and three more spots remaining in the coming qualifiers, ASUS has one invite spot left:

Ukraine Natus Vincere Poland ESC Gaming Denmark Anexis Germany Alternate
Denmark Wikipediots Ukraine KerchNET Russia ELTZ Russia PRESTIJ

As Anexis, Alternate and Wikipediots are no longer active in Counter-Strike 1.6, they will be replaced with other teams via invitations should they not be able to attend ASUS Final Battle of the Year.

Sad, this should've been with: SK fnatic Na'Vi ESC Moscow 5 Anexis mouz Project_KR 100% To end the era the right way. EDIT: Yeah, there are more teams who should've been there but I chose the eight teams I would've wanted to see :)
