fnatic, aL, Virtus to ESEA

Last three teams for the first global ESEA Invite CS:GO season have been announced, and they are fnatic, Absolute Legends and Virtus.pro. Final spot will be up for grabs through a community vote.

On the previous days ESEA has kept announcing two teams a day as they have worked towards their total of eleven invited teams for the first global ESEA Invite CS:GO season, which will feature finals in North America.

Friis & co invited to ESEA

With all the big names such as Ninjas in Pyjamas, VeryGames and mousesports already invited, another fan favorite fnatic who recently made the switch to CS:GO have been included in the final batch of invites.

Sweden NiP France VeryGames Germany n!faculty Poland ESC Gaming
Finland The Hawks Germany mousesports United Kingdom fm.TOXiC Denmark Anexis
Denmark fnatic Sweden Absolute Legends Russia Virtus.pro Europe TBA

The final spot will be decided through a community vote on ESEA.net. Voting is expected to begin in the coming days, and we will of course keep you updated on it here on HLTV.org.

they won against Anexis and FM.Toxic who were by the saucers opinions "top 5 world" in their first month of practice and their first CSGO LAN, unlike NiP, ESC is completely new to the engine and have to figure it out all by themselves. If we were to follow the logic of quality of 1.6, ESC will be the best team in the world in no time.

Let me remind you of that Fnatic players was the best of the best in the end of 1.6 scene. They have a extremely high invidual skill. I think that they will have their fair chance.

I agree that they deserve it more than anexis, n!faculty and fmtoxic but i think there are better teams who didn't receive an invite too. Anyway, the last slot is given by people's vote iirc, so it's very unlikely that we'll see cphwolves attending since they aren't very popular. I bet Na'Vi/Millenium/mouz.uk will take the slot

Not quite sure who to vote for. Of course, I'd love to see Na'Vi there, but they haven't been playing for very long. WW are certainly good, but I'm not sure if they have enough fan support to win the community vote. I'm just worried that the ESEA community will vote in a team without knowing anything about the international scene.

Apparently, Na'Vi refused an invitation to the league. Based on some comments I read on ESEA, a lot of people will be voting for mTw... exactly like I was talking about in my previous comment.

Guys don't get too upset if you think there's a team not on there that should be. This is the first season of invite esea in Europe. Things will shape up better next season when teams that win open and maybe 2nd place(assuming that's how esea will do their changes for next season) and the teams that do poorly will get dropped. Our esea seasons go by pretty quick so next season will happen faster than you think. At least you guys didn't have to put up with the teams list we had in na but that's because it was a new game and esea didn't have to pick and kinda guess what teams should be there where most people know pretty much all the top teams in Europe now since the game been out for a bit..sit back boys give esea a chance and I promise you that you guys will appreciate it
