Volcano releases de_cache for CS:GO
Former 3D member Sal "Volcano" Garozzo has announced that he has release a version of de_cache for CS:GO.
de_cache was created in 2010 by Garozzo for CS:Source with competitive play in mind, and it became fairly popular in the North American scene, with the retired American player having made several tweaks to it based on feedback from the community.
When compared to its CS:S counterpart, the CS:GO version of de_cache features, in Garozzo's words, "improved aestethics, gameplay tweaks made for the competitive community and improved visleaf optimization."
The former 3D star, who visited Valve's headquarters in January to provide feedback on CS:GO, released in August his own modified version of de_nuke, called de_nuke_ve, which has replaced Valve's standard version in competitive tournaments.
It is believed that Garozzo will now begin to work on improved versions of de_inferno_se and de_train_se.
