VG and myDGB.net over ESC, zNation

VeryGames and myDGB.net have defeated ESC Gaming and zNation 2-0 and 2-1 to advance to the semi-finals of AMD Sapphire Invitational, where they will face each other.

ESC Gaming started off with a pistol round loss on de_nuke_ve, which put them down 0-5 early on. Cever one-on-two clutches from Mariusz "Loord" Cybulski and Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas allowed them to win four rounds in the half before switching sides.

As counter-terrorists ESC Gaming went up to a four-on-two situation in the pistol round, but Eduoard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux's two kills allowed VG to win the round. The two following save rounds both came down to one-on-ones, but VG went up 14-4.

ESC Gaming mustered a decent comeback, winning five rounds in a row thanks to big plays by Filip "NEO" Kubski. In the end losing that pistol round was too much however, as they went on to lose 11-16.

Loord's clutching was almost enough, but no cigar

On de_inferno_se VeryGames went down 1-6 as terrorists, but tied the game at six in five rounds. ESC picked up their game a notch, but even a 9-6 lead at half wasn't what they were hoping for.

Second half pistol started with Cybulski once again clutching a one-on-two, putting ESC up 12-6 in the process. Now it was VG's time to mount a comeback, and before you knew it they were the ones in the lead, 13-12. Next rounds were traded with ESC being forced to save, making it 15-13.

On the second to last round Jarosław "pasha" Jarząbkowski won a one-on-two of his own, but an overly sized smoke grenade allowed Kenny "kennyS" Schrub to defuse in a one-on-one versus Kubski on the final round to give VG a 16-14 win.

Simultaneously going on was the last quarter-final between myDGB.net and zNation. The Czech-Slovakian side started off strong on de_inferno_se, as they ran up the score to sixteen in just twenty-five rounds, 16-9.

Next map de_train_se was a totally different affair, as zNation's Nikita "fabi" Kvochkin simply refused to lose, putting up a monster performance with a score of 39/18 which allowed his team to win 16-13.

oskar & co are in the final four in Prague

Final map was de_dust2_se where myDGB, led by star AWPer Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács managed to score a 9-6 lead as terrorists, leaving the whole series down to the final half.

zNation won the pistol round as terrorists and tied the game at nine each, but Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný's squad prevailed in the end, going up 14-11 and then finally closing a 2-1 win with a 16-13 score.

Killing your own team mate in 2vs1 and missing your shots on a guy in must-defuse situation really isnt "very good" play by them? What comes to that quote about medics your probably just a troll anyways.

Yes they did but thats a different topic. I simply pointed out it wasnt the smoke grenade being overzided that caused their loss.

I can not protest against that. I think that it's only good that the smokes are so effective. At leat we can see some nice new tense and interesting situations.

Yes they improved a lot but he just meant that particular situation. It was just a little mistake but such things decide situations like that.

Why are you jumping on that smoke flame bandwagon? Who even started this, omg. I know you would have several ideas how to play in that situation and win the round although there's the smoke. Why are both terrorists staying in a line when they have extremely low hp and every bullet can kill them? Why does NEO only shoot at the left side of the smoke? (He didn't even shoot in the smoke). It's just a little mistake and those things decide matches like that but there's no point in blaming the smoke. That's also something you have to get used to and you'll see it's great.

They weren't staying in line! The T-rushed to Loord and neo shot the T! The smoke problem had been mentioned a lot of times earlier!

" ever heard of unbiased writing lurppis? no matter how you feel about the grenades personally it shouldnt slant an article towards esc just because of it

csgo is the update for css css was the update for cs1.6 it is quite hard for esc to beat the css king they have to get familiar with the css maps as noobs but they will finally beat vg for sure
