Video: Interview with natu

Our first video interview during THOR Open is with Finnish veteran Joona "natu" Leppänen from Curse, who came through Group A in second place.

The former Hawks team got off on the wrong foot in Stockholm, losing their first two matches, but then picked themselves up in the final group encounter, against Copenhagen Wolves, to finish second in the group after a three-way tie with the Danish side and gosu.

In this video interview, Leppänen talks about the technical problems that his team had to deal with against gosu, his expectations about the semi-finals and also CSPromod.

the things he told about 1.09 csp beta are so true..If eswc, wcg, iem and other tournaments are going to invest in this game so it might get big. But i do not see this coming either, valve has the way to do things and keeps improving cs:goso in the upcoming months cs:go will be even better as a game. And if tournaments are going to pop out like this we might talk about a global phenomenon at 2013

actually, i personally hope that csp fails miserably. I dont want a 1.6 remake. I couldnt even play it from 2009-2010 and onwards because of boredom. Doing the same thing at the same maps for 11 years is dull as fuck

I can agree with this in a way. I played 1.6 and its predecessors. for a long time and around 2009 I just entirely lost motivation. I needed a nee game and fresh perspective. I did indeed continue following professional 1.6 but I was no longer playing. What I'd miss most about 1.6? The professionals doing things I could never do. Similar to starcraft. however I don't want it.to completely fail. These guys put time into this game for years for free. It'd be a shame to see their work wasted.

Me too. i'm 26 and i've been playing cs since i was 14. But if there are no investors it will fail. And the biggest mistake is that csp targets the 1.6 community only. I want a game to target Counterstrike(1.6 and css), call of duty and battlefield 3 communities, for a bigger player and fan base and for more chances to succeed. Global Offensive is in the right way right now but it should be modified a little bit to attract more players from different games. Its the only way for an fps title to be successful in a RTS/RPG gaming world. And a polished 1.6 wont make any difference to that
