Absolute Legends have announced that Western Wolves star Andreas "schneider" Lindberg will step in for them at NorthCon this weekend.

The Swedish team had been on the lookout for a fifth player for the German event after Faruk "pita" Pita decided to step down from the lineup because of personal problems within the squad.

Absolute Legends failed to impress at THOR open last weekend, finishing at the bottom of Group B following defeats to Anexis, Lemondogs and Western Wolves.

According to a statement issued by Absolute Legends, Lindberg will has joined the team on a temporary basis, so they will continue their quest to find a new player after the German event.

NorthCon will take place from December 14th-15th in Neumünster, with €9,000 up for grabs in the CS:GO tournament, which will feature the likes of ESC Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Absolute Legends will attend NorthCon with the following five players:

Jim "zneel" Andersson
Markus "pronax" Wallsten
Jonathan "lidde" Lidgren
Alexander "rdl" Redl
Andreas "schneider" Lindberg (stand-in)
