NorthCon groups drawn

The draw for the first group stage of NorthCon has been made, with the participants being divided into four groups of four teams.

Fresh from their title-winning campaign at THOR Open, Ninjas in Pyjamas will tackle LowLandLions, CPLAY and MaxFloPlaY in the opening phase of the German tournament.

ESC Gaming, who finished 5th-8th at the AMD Sapphire CS:GO Invitational in Prague earlier in the month, have been paired with Belgian side CRG and Danish duo Anexis and logiX.

As announced on Wednesday, Western Wolves star Andreas "schneider" Lindberg will be playing as a stand-in for Absolute Legends, who will tackle fm-eSports TOXiC, AT-Gaming and one of the teams from the BYOC qualifier.

The last group consists of Danish duo 3DMAX and EYES ON U, and German side gamed!de, with one of the teams from the qualifier getting the fourth slot.

NorthCon will run from December 14th through 15th in Neumünster, a town in the north of Germany, with €9,000 up for grabs in the CS:GO tournament, whose format was explained here.

it's easy for NiP all the time.... ESC was not born to play CS:GO, they just won't be the same as on 1.6, think they should pull the CSP project.

Why hasn't VeryGames been participating?!

They said milion times that they arent atenting anymore LAN in 2012 (next 2 weeks or so) probably due to their time scheudule since most of em are studying. They will be ready when 2013 will kick.
