Kepardit come to life

A new Finnish CS:GO team called Kepardit has been created, featuring a combination of former 1.6 and CS:Source players.

Since CS:GO was released, Finland's hopes of securing some silverware have solely rested on the shoulders of Curse and Tribute To Sylvester.

However, the future of the ex-ROCCAT squad has been up in the air in the last few weeks after the team decided to pull out of the SLTV StarSeries after just three games.

HLTV.org has now learned that Tribute To Sylvester have disbanded as Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola and Tom "stonde" Glad will begin their military service in January.

Two of the team's players, Christer "nashje" Loukas and Olli "kononen" Salmi, then embarked on a new challenge and decided to create their own team, linking up with former Logitech.fi team-mate Sami "SAMITSKY" Kuivala.

Former Team Temptation duo Jesse "KHRN" Grandell and Slaava "Twista" Räsänen make up the rest of the team, who will be playing under the name of Kepardit until they find an organisation to represent.

"When Tribute To Sylvester disbanded, nashje and kononen still wanted to continue playing and we knew already with whom we would like to play with," team manager
Mikael "unef0is" Miettinen said.

"I am confident that the team will be on top in the future. Believe me or not, but our team does have already phenomenal team play and team spirit, even though we have not played together that much yet."
