NiP, ESC through to NorthCon semis

Ninjas in Pyjamas and ESC Gaming have become the first teams to reach the NorthCon semi-finals after topping their respective groups in the second stage of the tournament.

The Swedish side kicked off their campaign in the second group stage with a 16-2 thrashing of fellow countrymen Absolute Legends, followed by 16-5 and 16-4 victories over gamed! de and MaxFloPlay, respectively.

At the foot of Group A's table, there was a three-way tie between the remaining teams, with Absolute Legends left out in the cold as MaxFloPlay and gamed!de move on to the relegation stage.

In the other group, ESC Gaming were held to a surprising draw by CPLAY in their third game, but still managed to finish at the summit after victories over 3DMAX (16-2) and fm-eSports TOXiC (16-5).

The last two spots in the semi-finals will now be contested by the teams who placed second and third in the second group stage, with the match-ups being the following:

Rofl I'll give it to northcon, for an event that has started on friday and ends on saturday and with more delays than cspromods development team they sure as hell have crammed in the most amount of games possible lol. Nip gonna beat esc but ill be rooting for esc!

Atleast Dreamhack starts during daytime, around 10 AM. aL's first game was supposed to be played at 3.30 PM or something. ;) fucking awesome schedule. This event should be awarded with the Nobel Prize. It's hard to describe the epicness of this event. ShitCon 4tw

Hmm, no. I already thought the event was shit when my brother told me there was going to be the biggest delay of all-time. I think most people here will agree that this event is shit, there is like 16 teams, and 56 groupstages before the bracket. Absolutely magnificent.
