POPPERS replace raalz with device
POPPERS have told HLTV.org that Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg has been replaced by Nicolai "device" Reedtz.
The Danish team was created less than a month ago with four former members of Anexis' 1.6 division plus ex-SharkGaming talent Nikolaj "EXR" Therkildsen.
POPPERS, a temporary name until the team finds an organisation, had set the bar really high, stating that they planned to quickly reach a top level and also attend an international event soon.
However, their plans have now suffered a setback as Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg has stepped down from the active line-up due to his lack of time to practice.

To replace him, POPPERS turned to Nicolai "device" Reedtz, who represented some of Denmark's strongest CS:Source teams, such as DSRack and Copenhagen Wolves.
This represents a shift in POPPERS' recruitment policy, a move that was welcomed by Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, who admitted that the team needed a player from CS:Source.
"Due to some activities, Raalz decided to step down for the moment," Pfeiffer told HLTV.org. "There is no doubt in my mind that we got the best replacement we could possible get.
"We made a mistake bringing in five 1.6 players from the start, as there are simply too many similarities to Source that we do not know about.
"Device is already implementing new grenades/tactics into our game play, and we are sure that it will take our game to a greater level."
POPPERS remain on the lookout for an organisation to represent, and they can be reached at [email protected]. The team's roster is now the following:
Danny "BERRY" Krüger
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Samal "SFM" Mikkelsen
Nikolaj "EXR" Therkildsen
Nicolai "device" Reedtz
