neXtPlease! unveil CS:GO team

neXtPlease! have officially ventured into CS:GO by creating a new team with former 1.6 players.

Like most of the teams in Romania, neXtPlease! opted against an early switch to CS:GO and participated in as many 1.6 events as possible, attending DreamHack Bucharest - where they crashed out in the quarter-finals, and the Romanian eSport Championship, where they finished fourth.

From that team, only Alexandru "PusE" Popescu remains, with the Romanian player having been handed the task to assemble a new squad capable of reaching the top on an international level.

The other players to join the team are no strangers to those who followed the 1.6 scene, as neXtPlease! turned to ex-The Elder Gods trio Catalin "bEe" Stanescu, Andrei "SNAPPLE" Constantin and Cosmin "WHitE" Cetanas and Iulian "sonic" Ionescu, formerly of es.

"I chose these players because they are the best in Romania, and I am sure that we will be the best in our country and very good on an international level," Popescu told HLTV.org.

"We will begin to practice for Copenhagen Games next week, and we will play on a daily basis until the day of the tournament.

"We are confident that we will reach at least the top five in this tournament.

"We are playing a lot because we love this game more than 1.6."

They did , but 1 match won against a good team every once in a while won't bring them into the top 5.

Yeah you're right but if they will practice against top teams (and i think they are) i think they can do damage out there . This team is full of skilled players , idk they hours in GO but in 1.6 WHitE's awp was incredible , in the other side you got 3great aimers.I wouldnt be surprise if they will end up in top6.

I for one enjoy playing this game, not the same as 1.6 but i still enjoy it; btw it isn't even fair to compare cs.go with 1.6, they are two distinct games. One reason for enjoying cs.go > 1.6 is that in cs.go nobody can use silent-run (duck binded on mwheelup/mwheeldown) - as 98% of "players" here in Romania do for 1.6.

I wish them good luck! I don't know what happened to HLTV.org since I stopped playing Counter Strike 1.6, but seems like lots of guys just swearing here and there and doing what they want. Can't you just appreciate them? They maybe don't even earn together money to pay their rent, but play this game everyday?
