fnatic add Xyp9x, JOKERN

fnatic have officially announced that they have added Andreas "Xyp9x" Hojsleth and Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel to their CS:GO squad.

Barthel has been part of the team since joining in as a stand-in in December, together with Morten "frozt" Frost, who was dropped last week after seemingly failing to impress.

He has now earned a permanent spot on the team, making the move at the same time as Andreas "Xyp9x" Hojsleth, a former Wikipediots 1.6 player who recently donned CPLAY's colours at NorthCon.

"It's cool to be a part of Fnatic, one of the biggest organisations, if not the biggest," Hojsleth told fnatic's website.

"The guys at Cplay are some fantastic guys and I wish them the best of luck.

"I hope Magnus and I can help the Fnatic team to succeed to where Fnatic has always been and I just want to thank Fnatic for giving me the opportunity to play with them."

Meanwhile, fnatic have confirmed that Dennis "Rytter" Rytter gave a good account of himself during his two-month trial and will continue to captain the team.

The Danish team will make their first appearance with the new lineup tonight, Gaming.dk League's triple header against Anexis, DODGY and 3DMAX.

fnatic now have the following lineup:

yeah, trace was probably the best allround CS player from 2006-2012, together with maybe f0rest and last few years karrigan Mikael amazing awper, hope he can become as good in GO as he was in 1.6 :>

Some years ago with Archi and ins fnatic was the team to be admired for their loyalty. They played almost two years without a single change. Right now they are shuffling players every freaking year. As a fan I'm tired of this. I really want them just to stick with these 5 players, regardless, of results. Team chemistry that's the key to success.

I started cheering for them since 2006. Archi, Tentpole, cArn, dsn and f0rest. That was the team that I admired. They were a family and that I like the most. When f0rest left fnatic I didn't run after him just because he was #2 favorite player of all time(after Archi). I standed by the team and they didn't disappoint me just like 4 years before f0rest's departure. Xizt and Gux raised the team to total domination. I also remember names like Hyb, Hyper, ahl, moto, ksharp, Sievers, Nook, ruuit, Damien, Luchesse; teams like zex, titans, m19, eolithic, lunatic-hai, team9. fnatic is the first team that I've started cheering for. That is called loyalty. But probably you are profoundly ignorant about that notion since you cheer for personalities. With that being said you can go on fapping on those "players" all you want because that's what you do

So so strange, a Fnatic player! Impressive... i will never forget when i played with a 12 year xyp9x who was wallhacking like crazy :D But hey, didnt we all do that when we were young. It makes one a better player in the long run i believe :) Best of luck, you deserve it ;)

Well in 10 minutes we'll see if hard work was given in CS:GO or not, we've seen top players and semi pro players go completely backwards in CS:GO so far so you never know who's better these days. As far as I know Rytter was considered good but not that good in Source and he's been playing really well in CS:GO, I can't confirm that but I'll say that's a good example :).

Ofcourse they are better. Trace was probably the best 1.6 clutch player ever. His gaming sense/experience and ingame IQ, will not change. Its a matter of adapting, and that is fortunately a short process, in comparison to the expected lifespan of CS:GO. Some things you just cant learn.. And yes, i know you said "At the moment"

lol it's funny when carn made f0rest (uprising known player), get_right (bright mid-tier sweden player), xzt ( completely unknown, maybe known to westerners, not to others) international players, in my opinion when their wings grew in fnatic organization, they just looked none other money (1.6 sk (better offers), go:nip ( dollars), thus why carn, dsn, and fnatic organization are my favourite, and even I chose to buy fnatic edition sensei over raw edition just because their unwavering determination to hardcore 1.6 fans and loyalty to fnatic fans unlike money-liking, innocent looking ex-members, its because of fans like us who made those jerks who they became now.

Quite sure they made themselves with the guidance of fnatic. Although I am quite sure the Swedish talent factory used to be Begrip, fnatic just took that role after Begrip went off the grid :) EDIT: Even forest was recognized because of Begrip I believe, was him and Robban and a few other people in there?

This team surely has some momentum going on.. They were quite impressive throughout the match today against Anexis except some rounds here and there.. As long as they practice more and more they would will give a good fight for the best teams on the circuit.

zanoj have like 50 hours CSGO max, raalz doesn't even play anymore I think. have you even considered that they might not even be good at CSGO? it's retarded to want any of those two in a fnatic roster when you haven't even seen them play yet lol.
