krL returns in Nameless

Former VeryGames leader Sébastien "krL" Perez has announced his return to activity with a new team called Nameless.

Perez was part of the so-called "classic" VeryGames roster which at one point dominated the European CS:Source scene, partly due to his impressive leadership skills and the ability to read the game.

He was such a pivotal part of the team that he convinced his then-teammates, among whom were Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux and Cédric "RpK" Guipouy, to follow him out of a salaried VeryGames squad to go freelance, following a dispute with the organisation because of the French EPS finals.

After captaining ROCCAT, Perez ended up retiring from gaming in 2010, only to make a short-lived comeback with LDLC.com.

2007 WCG champion ioRek will also try his luck in CS:GO

He is now back in business with a new lineup that includes ex-LDLC team-mate Alexandre "bistouflyy" Lebozec and former eXtensive! duo Gordon "Sf" Giry and Robin "GMX" Stahmer.

The last player on the team is none other than Jérémy "ioRek" Vuillermet, one of the most successful French players in the 1.6 scene, having won, among other titles, the 2007 WCG crown with emuLate.

"After almost 2 years away, Alex and I missed competitive play," Perez told Vakarm.net. "Those who know me know that I am not playing for second place.

"I think I have found players to build a competitive line-up rather quickly."

This new French team will make their first LAN appearance at Epslan, in Champagne-au-Mont-d'Or, from February 2nd-3rd, with VeryGames and Imaginary Gaming also understood to be going to take part in this tournament.

no he said theres more competition in csgo... which is true... theres more competition in csgo than 1.6 was this year as well.. because source and 1.6 and some cod players are all playing it.

Stop changing the meaning of what he said, there wasn't enough team as strong as VG back then. If there is no competition in Source then there is absolutely no competition right now on GO due to NiP ?
