Assembly Winter 2013 announced

Details for Assembly Winter 2013's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, set to feature 3,000€ in prizes this year, have been announced.

The event will take place on February 22-24 as usual in the same location of Kaapelitehdas in Helsinki, Finland. In total 8,000€ will be given out in StarCraft 2, League of Legends, CS:GO and Tekken.

allu & co will try to win another title on Finnish soil next month

Previous years have seen some foreign teams make the trip to Finland for the Counter-Strike: Source tournaments held at Assembly, but so far it is unknown who has signed up for the tournament.

A total of seven invites will be handed out to teams who apply for them, while one spot is reserved for an online qualifier, set to run on February 5-6, just over a week after sign ups close. Prize money will be distributed as follows:

1. 1,500€
2. 1,000€
3. 500€

Curse are obviously heavy favorites going into the event, fresh off their win at LanTrek 2013 in Tampere last week. However, that could change when invitations get announced on February 1.

lurppis when are you going to bite the bullet and swap

you don't know shit! lurppis has always been one of the most raw skilled igls! It's his dominance as an igl that often backfired to his team whenever he wasn't at his best! So no, he was always the carrier not the carried one!
