KerchNET lose two
KerchNET have announced that they have parted company with Taras "craft1k" Voitenko and Vladyslav "bondik" Nechyporchuk.
The Ukrainian team came out on top of ASUS Open 2012 Final Battle of the Year in December, but they failed to impress in SLTV StarSeries, finishing at the bottom of the table, without a single point from 11 matches.
Voitenko had already expressed his intention to stop playing CS:GO, so it is with little surprise that KerchNET confirmed his departure. Nechyporchuk, in turn, has decided to take a break from gaming, but he does not rule out the possibility of a future comeback.
"I would like to thank you guys for the time you spent with KerchNET," team manager Alexander "Alert" Shtachenko said.
"You were part of the team for a long time, and you have always shown the best results. The fans will always remember you for your contribution to the project. Good luck!"
These may not be the only departures in KerchNET, however, as Roman "z1" Poltavchenko has also been omited from the team's roster for the new SLTV StarSeries season, which is a serious indication that he may be on his way out.
The Ukrainian team have registered iPLAY trio Igor "ROggY" Usatiy, who played as a stand-in for KerchNET in SLTV StarSeries, Yuriy "MeDveDeV" Voronyin and Alexander "MucT" Vorotyntsev.
KerchNET currently have the following roster:
Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy
Ruslan "krutoi" Kolodinskyi
Roman "z1" Poltavchenko
Igor "ROggY" Usatiy
Yuriy "MeDveDeV" Voronyin
Alexander "MucT" Vorotyntsev
