Infused pick up c4u

Infused have announced on their website that they have picked up c4urself as their new CS:GO squad.

c4u burst onto the scene back in 2004, when they shocked the 1.6 community by holding Schroet Kommando to a 12-12 draw at Landed LAN 6. Later that year, though, the team fell into disgrace after James "wilzOOO" Wilson was caught cheating in a ClanBase match againsg 4Kings.

From the original c4u lineup, Luke "KritikaL" Green is the only player left, and he boasts the experience of a veteran, having played at a top level in both 1.6 and CS:Source.

Fresh from a third-place finish at iSeries47, the former VYE team have now been recruited by Infused, who were on the lookout for a new CS:GO squad after their previous team disbanded due to some players lacking the motivation to scale greater heights.

"After our iseries result, we have been contacting many organizations in regards to progressing and looking to achieve something within the new version of Counterstrike," Green told Infused's website.

"Infused were without a doubt the most solid and ambitious organization that we spoke to, and Andrew's love for eSports was apparent when speaking to him.

"Infused have some great sponsors, and we look forward to representing them at Epic Lan 10 in 2 weeks time, and hopefully I can lead my team to what would be a 4th victory at Epic Lan."

After Epic.Ten, which will be held from February 15th to 17th, Infused plan on attending Insomnia 48 between March 22nd to 25th.

Infused have the following six-man lineup:

Like Gumpster said, Infused are more of a local organisation. Like VYE(lol), BEASTS, CRG, Rasta-Gaming, BBoMM. Smaller fry orgs. I doubt they could give the Overrated guys what they are seeking, which will be funds for all the international big lans, and salaries most likely. They certainly aren't nonamers, they are well known within the British CS:S scene and some of the members in the lineup have got pretty good histories in the game. Saying that, the UK scene is terrible anyway.

The story goes something like this.. SK go to the UK for a promotional tour at some cafe or LAN or whatever it is. Basically they are there to chill out, sign stuff, whatever.. They get told in the morning that they are required to play a showmatch with one of the home teams. The guys have been in party mode and not into playing, especially in the early morning.. but whatever they do it. Go down play a nothing showmatch and draw with the UK team (c4u). All the UK scene goes crazy thinking they are able to match the mighty SK in terms of skill, etc... start bragging about the draw. The fact that UK made such a big deal over a nothing showmatch and the fact that its STILL being mentioned and probably being held onto by this kritikal like it ment anything is just so laughable. Also on a side note.. SK also did a tour of Australia (I think Sydney) and they lost to a local team (iM) and you never heard ANYTHING about it.. why? BECAUSE ITS A STUPID MEANINGLESS SHOWMATCH PUT ON FOR ENTERTAINMENT VALUE AND NOTHING MORE.

I think it was more the fact that it was classed as the intel extreme finals, since 4kings lost to SK and we won the LAN final to play vs them. Not to mention that there was a SHIT load of people watching nearly 9000 people + on a stage infront of about 400-500 people. It was also being filmed by 3 tv crews. Not to mention after everyone in the crowd wanting to play the overtime, us wanting to play the overtime, they were arguing with each other, pretty stressed out and told us straight to our faces that they didn't want to play against us. That was a big thing for us, and prior to that result we had just beaten TAG 13-2 at i19, so we came out of no where, won i19 beating a fully sponsored team. We then went to another lan a week after and beat everyone comfortably, which then lead us to draw vs the 3 time in a row CPL champions in the manner that we did, with literally no one really knowing who the hell we were. It lead to a few sponsorship deals, and some serious interest corporately. So to say it meant nothing, it may have meant nothing to you. But for a lot of the c4u players it basically provided us with a platform which has lead people like me to this day, which has involved me going to 2 ESWCs, and international events around the world.

Oh yeah SK went party mode, U think we didn't we had just won the LAN, the showmatch was something they threw in just to see what would happen as an extra spectator event. We had 0 sleep, and the night prior was sleeping on a floor. They had a rockstar tour coach with insanely nice food / beds.

I think you need to remember that SK back in 2004 were the team to beat... whereas now upsets are now more common. I mean, their titles from 2003-2005 were insane... 1st CPL Winter 2005 – Dallas 1st CPL Summer 2005 – Dallas 2nd CPL Summer 2004 – Dallas 1st CPL Winter 2003 – Dallas 1st CPL Europe 2003 – Copenhagen 1st CPL Summer 2003 – Dallas 1st CPL Europe 2003 – Cannes 2nd ESWC 2005 – Paris 3rd ESWC 2003 – Poitiers 1st WCG 2003 – Seoul Not to mention other random local LANs they attended and won. To see SK draw an unknown UK team when they were the best team in the world (by a fair margin) was completely unexpected, hence why it's always mentioned.

nah it was me , friza , puls3 , powell , zeox for iseries, but john went to new zealand and wanted to hit the gym and concentrate on work for a bit, so he took a back seat for a while and we got pez in.
