i agree its a good achievement. But winning Bo1's cant win you tournaments. they were allowed to play their 2 favourite maps and played extremely well so credit to them. but even on their best maps they rarely show that level of skill. i cant use this 1 good tourney result to restore my faith in that team. they still need changes and an igl

all fanboying aside, tabsen really is a top10 player this year for me - even in t2 competition there is just nobody who 30-35+ frags so consistently. autimatic too is a very good player and he has proven himself against t1 competition, unlike tabsen (well tabsen dropped 40 frags against astralis at e-league s1 lan, but aside from that). but i see a huge advantage in BIG's teamplay and adapting. they use their utility very efficient and gob knows how to utilize his teammates very good. i might be biased, but BIGs teamplay is miles better than c9s. and i still might be biased but if tabsen, nex and keev all play their A-Game (and they have luck with their oponents) they could very well go out 3-0 here - it's BO1's after all

That is true but Big has a tactical advantage over C9. Gob-B can just antistrat Stewie and C9 on the 2-3 maps they have a chance of playing and just hardcounter them with just preparion. I would say Tabsen + a bit of tactics can do well vs C9

You do realize that bot b literally has the aim of a gold nova, right? It's completely understandable that he would lose such a duel. He is only on the team because LEGIJA and him are best friends + he essentially created this roster. I would love to see him kicked along with LEGIJA and add actual decent pros and see what this team can do. There's no way BIG even win more than 1 game in this qualifier.

He is a good IGL, don't fuck with that lol. Also, he has OKAY AIM, not good, but it's okay because he puts down so much work and has done since 1.6 Legija I agree with, he probably shouldn't be on the team if they want to go far, UNLESS he does something special. Something we can't see on stream. Sometimes he has good games, but as I said, if they want to go fighting vs t1, they need another fragger to help Tabsen. I think BIG might even make the Major, and I hope so. Not because I'm a fan, but because I like the games they play, the strats they run, and especially tabsen going ham.

General cbble CT philosophy is that the CT's need to (at least) own one of drop-room or control platform (or even fight for deep platform control). Once you lose both, the T's are almost always favoured to win the round when the CT's are having money issues. BIG where willing to concede both, and then re-take drop.

Pretty much what I thought as well, no punishment for losing the most important spots of the map, it doesn't help you at all. Sadly for BIG, the rounds that C9 abused it the most was some of the most important rounds of the half, which makes sense from C9:s point of view.

Stewie doesn't get enough credit for how well he can control the tempo (don't want to use pace) of a T-side half.... when his team doesn't lose a shitty eco-round early on. Instead of suffocating teams with defaults, it's often "dump your nades or face the potential of getting steam rolled". Super easy too string rounds together when your money is flush.

BIG at this point you have no right to win the game. Lost a 4 v 1 due to peeking a CZ and not planting the bomb, and then fucking up a 4 v 2 because they don't push the fucking site, they leave Legija to die, and then they get picked off 1 by 1. So in theory, BIG could've come back to 11-13 and have 10k on every player, lose a 4 v 1. Then they had to chance to get to 14-12, and they lose a 4 v 2.
