i think this one depends more on g2 than astralis. maybe they got caught offguard a little yesterday, it was impossible to expect anything from mibr but even though astralis didn't look as comfortable they still/already have very solid setups and individual plays. though we should be aware this is not the old astralis (yet). for g2 it isn't possible to work much on their playstyle with niko in that short amount of time but it's also not easy to prepare for them with that factor of uncertainty, not-igl-ing niko is the xfactor here. they come into this match with some confidence and a nothing to lose mentality, they are great individuals and astralis have to be vigilant to not make the same mistakes as they did against mibr which i think g2 is much more capable of converting into their own favour. it's hard to justify more than 65/35 at a max.

Would not be surprised if Astralis decide to pick Train instead of Nuke considering Xyp is back on the team and he's exceptionally good at holding that B site. Also the fact that G2 haven't been doing well on that map. Plus Astralis lost vs MIBR on Nuke yesterday - perhaps that is a factor worth considering as well.

It’s debatable honestly, they’re pretty equal. I feel like Amanek is more flashy and has big games/clutches but also has games where he has little impact, where as Jackz is more consistent but rarely pops off and is also capable of having little impact against better teams. I’d personally role with the better support player since you have Niko/Hunter/Kenny as a core with even Nexa as fire power.

Kenny is the only reason G2 lot. Had he played just badly they win, now he played terrible and threw the entire game. He was the reason they lost all the crucial rounds and had absolutely 0 impact, and on inferno as an awp that's just not acceptable. Feels like he's very fluky and inconsistent these days. He keeps going for 2014 plays and peeks even when he's not hitting a single shot. He will have his 30 bomb where he hits everything now and then, but in a team like this, a consistent ~20 frags / game awp couls possibly be a better choice, the riflers will win the game as long as the awper is doing average work. Sad for G2, they played better in my eyes, hate to point someone out but kenny lost them the game completely on his own.
