VeryGames has topped group D of RaidCall EMS One's group stage over fnatic with the duo joining the previously qualified six teams at the finals in Cologne.

fnatic survived an early scare against LowLandLions in the opening round and ran over dotpiXels in the second round, while VeryGames had an easier time against both opponents in their matches.

With the duo having already qualified for the finals, they played a head-to-head match in the final round to determine the first seed from group D heading into the event in Cologne.

kennyS' AWP was on fire versus fnatic

The Danes started off with a 8-0 score in the opening half as terrorists on de_dust2_se, but the Frenchmen adapted by switching to multiple AWPs and strong individual play led by Kenny "kennyS" Schrub allowed VG to win seven straight rounds.

Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom's pistol round kills kept VeryGames' momentum alive, and the Frenchmen went on to clinch the game with a score of 16-9 as fnatic could never recover after their first round loss.

just generally wondering, why do you think he's not as good? surely most people will agree it's harder to aim in 1.6 as the models are smaller but why can't trace convert that play into this game? maybe it's the team play or just not used to the game?

Him and Neo both big movement whores, without having such free movement, they have struggled. That's my guess anyway, but it could just be that they play different roles now or something

I wonder why dont they preform like that on lan? im not suggesting that they are in any way cheating because ive seen them play CSS in lan events they are good. The IGL and the manager should look into it, something in the csgo lan atmosphere is holding them back.

They are playing exactly like this on LAN, did you watch their dd2 matches against Curse.NA and Quantic? 16-4/16-5. Probably their best map.

Honestly, i can't feel ScreaM now. I only see that he can head shot a lot but he can't kill a lot constantly. He's ahead of everyone in aiming but he far behind by f0rest and gtr in killing more enemies. I hope i can the beast ScreaM again in their upcoming lan events. If VG can't win any of the 2 upcoming events, i think they should think to change players since shox is still free agent. Get that fucking PRIDE(ex6tenz) OUT to win more!

VG are actually not so good on mirage (as on dust2 3 weeks ago). Let them some time to fix their game and u'll see. But yeah,dotpixels seemed OK on mirage, while verygames were doing a lot of mistakes so... + the fact they don't seem 'fine' on this map, even their ct defense is maybe ''bad'', they don't try to take control of the mid area, and that cost them a lot.
