The Blast #5 seeds announced

The organisers behind The Blast 2013 have released the seeding distribution for the CS:GO tournament.

Beginning on Thursday and running through Sunday, The Blast will gather the top of the Danish CS:GO scene, almost one month after Copenhagen Games came to a close.

Even though the LAN's actual tournament will only kick off on Friday, there will be plenty of CS:GO action taking place on Thursday already as the Gaming.dk League playoffs are scheduled to start at 21:00 .

Western Wolves head into this tournament hoping to go back to winning ways after losing to fnatic in the semi-finals of Mad Catz Birmingham last month.

The Copenhagen Games runners-up will be playing with Sebastian "izenb0" Riising for the first time after Nichlas "Nille" Busk retired from gaming, but much to the surprise of the Danish community, they were still given the top seed.

fnatic have been given the second seed, while Copenhagen Wolves, who recently welcomed Nicolai "device" Reedtz back into the team, are third and ServerForge are fourth.

Below you can find the seeding distribution. A total of 27 teams are currently signed up for the tournament, but only 16 of them have been given a seed.

Doubt it. Fnatic aren't that strong really. They got a very easy route to the EMS finals, where they had the truly colossal task of beating two mix teams to reach the final.

They aren't my cph and ww. I would quite like for fnatic to win, or CPH wolves. But fnatic aren't as strong as people think, they haven't proved much yetin GO.

dont count out xapso - in the danish league they are in front quite convincing too, beating all the teams mentioned above... They are still a mix-team though - lets see how they do on LAN.

I think it is because eSpuma qualified to the Gaming.dk LAN finals, there they beated teams like RC, Vikings, Eyes on u, ServerForge.. u name it.

I think you've been proven wrong :P They're not "top 1 best team ever in the world" quite yet but obviously a really strong and quite consitent team. Nille was good but Pimp/gla1ve/nico and MSL are all better players imo. Hopefuly isenb0 will pick his game up and intergrate a bit more and they'll be a stronger team in the long run.
