Vikings confirm disbandment

Sune "crZy" Hansen has confirmed that Vikings' players have decided to go their separate ways.

The future of the Danish team had been up in the air following a disappointing campaign at The Blast #5, where they finished 9th-12th following defeats to oXzone and Server-Forge.

Such doubts were earlier in the week justified when Morten "coloN" Johansen formed a new team called flækkeholdet alongside former fm-eSports TOXiC duo Danni "smF" Dyg and Søren "socN" Falke.

Vikings are no more

Hansen has now confirmed that Vikings have called it quits, with the team's players now evaluation their future.

"There have been ups and downs, good days and bad days," he told Gaming.dk. "I do not know what the other guys will do, except for coloN, who has already found a new team.

"We only had one day to practice leading up to The Blast, where we also had to play with a stand-in (percy). We lost to teams we should have defeated easily under normal circumstances.

"I would like to thank all the boys for a good time and especially the fans who made our trip to The Blast possible! See you soon."

The following players are now on the lookout for a new team:

Sune "crZy" Hansen
Nabil "BULI" Rachid
Kristoffer "krischjo" Schjønnemann
Thomas "beeck" Beeck

Hmm, I guess swedish and germany isnt that far off from country differense, the whole "king" word in sweden = konung so it has the simularities :)

yeah some words are easy to understand because of their similarities. like i was listening to a swedish metal song with the title "hemfärd", in german the title would be "heimfahrt".

several prizes was given out ;) We have been up for 5 months with a total of 3 roster changes. zanoj homaz saida. We attended a total of 4 events (northcon, hklan, theblast & cph games) aswell as 2 seasons of Gaming league. Think people are a bit hard but w/e ;)

tbh its a bit of a pisstake, you guys asked for money and then, state that you only practiced for 1 day for the Blast, so you repayed all those people that helped with a nice slap to the face.
