approx returns in new EOU team

After what was probably the shortest period of retirement in the history of Counter-Strike, Manuel "approx" Zeitz has returned to activity with the new EYES ON U team.

The news comes as a huge surprise, as the former mousesports and ALTERNATE star had decided to quit competitive gaming only two weeks ago, citing his lack of desire to continue playing on a professional level.

Zeitz will be joined by his former mouz and Swog teammate Michele "zonixx" Köhler in this new team, who also boast Marco "fai" Sinato, who represented teams like DkH and Karont3 in 1.6.

The rest of the team is made up of former Hardware4u and Playing Ducks member Kim "NeOn" Bäumchen and of dotpiXels' Marcel "rAx" Klenner, with Turkish veteran Fatih "gob b" Dayik taking up the role of backup player.

"rax and fai approached me and asked me if I would be interested in playing again in EPS," Köhler told EONu's website.

"I could not say no to, so I contacted approx, who is a very good friend of mine. The interesting thing is everyone on the team has known each other for like half a decade.

"We will keep our usual approach, which is to create some tactics and some little moves, and then we adjust them based on our opponents.

"We want to have as much success as possible, but a good atmosphere is crucial. We want to have a 'fun season0, but we are all very ambitious, so 'fun' means 'winning'.

"I will not say the exact place [we are aiming for], but everything below a playoff place would be really disappointing."

EYES ON U will compete in EPS with the following roster:

Kim "NeOn" Bäumchen
Marcel "rAx" Klenner

someone that was good at 1.6 thinks he can be good and go and never gives up ...usualy that kind of guys always get owned and retires at the end for a second time.

What's the point of playing PC games? Maybe having a good time? They're all good friends and that's why they're playing together.

Not everyone plays to be the best team in the world. Also it is still early in CS:GO's life, 1.6 CSS and even other FPS players can still transition over and compete in time (Don't forget it took till 2009 until the best team 1.6 has ever seen emerged (Na'Vi)). In order for this community to develop we need to ENCOURAGE anyone and everyone to play GO, regardless of their background.

i agree with everything you said but for that to happen cs go needs consistancy aka teams that stick together like Nip,Navi,Esc...im sourcer and a VG fan but VG done a terible thing exept for RpK who was a beast in css but he retired...for cs go to succeed and have teams that fight over every tournament and not 1 team like Nip dominating everything...
