Pirates sign ex-Phantoms
Pirates eSports have announced that they have secured the services of the former Phantoms international team.
Last month, HLTV.org reported that a new international team had been created, with Danish duo Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel and Casper "ruggah" Due, and ex-k1ck AWPer Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues being involted in the project.
Half way through the season, the team were marked "dead" in ESEA Open, and then came the news that they had parted company with Phantoms over some broken promises.
It has now been revealed that the team have been picked up by Pirates eSports, a Portugal-based organisation who also support a local CS:GO team and a League of Legends division.

Not all players will be making the move to the new organisation, though, as Dejan "NTG" Herga is not part of the lineup anymore. The team are currently trying out some players and should be announcing their new fifth member soon.
The team will be making their first appearance for Pirates at i49 in Telford from August 23rd-26th, where they will be in action with the following roster:
Mário "Fyx" Rodrigues
Magnus "JOKERN" Barthel
