Hyper to get ESL unban

Meet Your Makers member Bartosz "Hyper" Wolny will be unbanned by the ESL in a week's time, HLTV.org has learned.

Back in March, the Polish player was handed a two-year ban from all ESL competitions after he was allegedly caught cheating in a 2on2 ladder game.

MaxFloPlay, Wolny's team at the time, called the ban "unfair" and challenged the ESL to provide evidence to support that the Polish ace was cheating, something that never happened.

According to the ESL's website, Wolny has now been given seven penalty points and has entered the rehabilitation program for cheaters, for which he had to admit to using third-party software.

Even though Wolny admitted to cheating to the ESL, HLTV.org knows that the team fully support him and believe in his innocence.

you are all wrong, kuben explained that cheating few weeks later when he joined Team-Pentagram and became pro player... he did cheat cause he was about to retire forever in next days cause he wanted to get a job and maybe leave country (he had hard times back then, he had to pay for his bill by himself etc), he didnt really care if he will get caught or so, but then he got invited to Team-Pentagram which was the only pro organisation in Poland in that time that paid real money for playing.

That's a horrible analogy and I'll tell you why. Nobody will admit having a problem just to enter a rehab. And if they do, it's not a problem. With plea bargain, though, people might declare theirselves guilty to diminish their sentences. It's a flaw system to enforce defendants to succumb, facilitating their job.

Didn't get banned on ESL wire, he played vs admins on 2on2 ladder and they banned him for 'cheating'. He had to admit he was cheating to go from 12 penalty points to 6/7 not sure, so he could play ESL with mym, otherwise he'd still be banned

Obviously ESL weren't about to unban him because they really thought he cheated, so eventually he made a reliabilitation - which means you make some sort of dissertation where you pretty much apologize about cheating and you explain why cheating is bad to esport. So yeah he said he was cheating, to be unbanned, that's all. That doesn't mean he actually cheated (I'm not saying he didn't cheat). kennyS did the same thing 3 years ago.

Why did you say "KennyS never did something like this." when you have absolutely no clue if it happenned or not? I'm not sure? kennyS and apex carried the french 2on2 ladder with a huge streak ( can't remember what scores they had tbh) in 2011, kennyS wasn't known at all at that time ( a bit in France maybe ). He got banned on a dust2 match where he was really really dodgy, but then again it was only on record, so who knows. He made a reliability late in 2011/early in 2012 and he played all his matches with his former team extensive! with 7pps( cheating). I even have the guy who banned him in my friendlist... But then again it's not a secret or anything, you could ask him, he isn't gonna lie or anything.

It's ESL's politic, they always worked like that. After you waited a 6 months period, you can do that reliability thingy to get less pps to be able to play again ( he still has 7 pps for cheating, and they can still cancel the reliability in the next 3 months).

Pretty fucking messed up on ESL's part. "ESL Anti-cheat team" is probably just a bunch of idiots with little CS experience watching a demo and going "HOLY SHIT THAT'S HACKING" just like how people report these players that end up innocent in 1/4 of Overwatches. Instead you can admit you were "guilty" and pay them, then you'll get in. Corrupt much? Edit: Same bullshit with Hyper and xelos. They review the demos fucking 1-2 months after they're played then declare, Silver I style, "HAX0RS!!@$%&" without any proof whatsoever. At least specify what part of the demo seems suspicious you dumb ESL fucks.

I remember Diodel (a french player who played really well, for people who dont know) making that kind of "admit letter".
