3DMAX send Vox Eminor packing

Vox Eminor have been eliminated from EMS One Katowice following a 7-16 defeat against 3DMAX.

For those who had watched the match against LDLC.com it did not come as a surprise just how well Vox Eminor got off against 3DMAX, stringing together the first five rounds of the match against what is without a doubt a much more experienced opponent.

After that, however, 3DMAX recovered ground, little by little, forcing Vox Eminor to go on eco after every gun round they lost. The Australians would win only just one more round before the break, with 3DMAX taking a great 9-6 lead into the second half.

Now on the Terrorist side, Vox Eminor tried to surprise 3DMAX the same way they had surprised LDLC.com and went for put three players faking B, while the other two moved towards A with the bomb, but the strategy was not successful, which allowed the Danes to further enlarge their lead.

Vox Eminor knew they had a mountain to climb to still win this one, but the difference between the two sides was tangible all across the board as 3DMAX picked up an easy 16-7 win to have a shot at redemption against LDLC.com.

I'm sad, but Vox put in a good shift today, totally showed why they were there and surprised many people. Hopefully they will come back and be better at future events like this :D

kinda sad they go out this way, getting 16-13 against a caliber as LDLC is a bit better than 16-7 against a semipro team :S

Vox put on a nice show, but everyone know they stood no chance. Nice games tho.

Next time, make them play the qualifiers and don't give away a free slot, please.

With 200ms, or do you want they do travel for a qualifier? They have proved they are worth an invite.

None of them would win the tournament, and at least VE brings a lot of viewers and help expand the community. They did better than mousesports, for instance, who went through a billion qualifiers.

Just a pity we saw VOXE in just two maps, and twice Inferno. Still don't know their real strength (or weakness). They started twice great, and invididually some actions we're really good. But teamplay-wise they weren't up to par, aswell u could see some nerves when they misthrew several (smoke) nades. Nice try though.
