New de_tuscan screenshots released

The creator of de_tuscan for Counter-Strike 1.6, Colin "Brute" Volrath, has released more screenshots of de_tuscan's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive version.

Volrath originally announced his plans of making de_tuscan for CS:GO in late 2012, and first expected to publish the much awaited map in time for DreamHack Winter of that year.

Last summer it was announced that his map was going to be released by July 22 at the very latest, but delays have kept fans waiting as the map is still being worked on today.

After EMS One Katowice last month Volrath said he would release the map by the end of the month, but so far has only turned out a new batch of screenshots of his latest creation.

You can find all the other new screenshots on Volrath's Facebook post. There is currently no official release date for de_tuscan's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive version.

This would probably be the nicest CSGO map. Looks clean and very little clutter. I hope we can have this map played in the next 250k (or otherwise big tournament). PS : People need to stop hating on Brute and being so negative in general. It's true that he has not been able to deliver at the timelines he committed previously but he's at least doing a good job. I am as disappointed as the next guy that the map has been delayed so much but stop acting like your lives depend on the release of this map.

de_mirage_ce is and always will be the best CS:GO map, albeit not a very "CS:GO-map" by standards. Balanced, clean, functional, and with nice colours.

toscan is a copy paste work of the CSS map, just a simple port in a program. Tuscan is a new map created from scratch.

Looking good, only comment I would be able to make is about the metal trailer/haystack near the side of shutter room. Metal objects usually fuck things up in CS, especially Source and CS:GO. They just absorb bullets completely. It also looks a bit out of place, other than that I'm looking forward to playing it.

All the major tournaments kicked out de_cache and such and replaced the _se maps with the normal ones (VALVE!!!!!) so we can enjoy chickens and such on de_inferno.

only EMS katowice used all of the official maps. hltv.org/news/11943-ems-one-katowice-map.. other tournaments still include de_cache and they will include de_tuscan when it is released.

10 years since tuscan relis.i walk through the empty maps trying to think of something else but my path always leads to tuscan. i stare at the screen for hours and try to summon the map. i start cs:s and play tuscan but it is no good. i flame volvo on reddit and try to resist the nazi mods but it is all meaningless. the end is near.i then usually watch some old tuscan replays and cry myself to sleep.

I think this looks really dated if you compare it to the work done on Cache for example. Those boxes are literally taken directly from source. Not saying I dislike it, but I'm pretty confident valve will want it remade much like mirage was before its put in an operation.

it looks awesome and will be a blessing to play on. no matter how long brute needed, you gotta say and admit he is he most qualified for the dopest maps around. toscan was a nice try to fit the gap, but this original brute one will be extremely good and make you forget forgotten promises from brute. it will be a outstanding map fur sure. if brute would be responsible for every competitive csgo map, the maps would be alot better, entertaining and dope ass competitive trimmed.he is a master at work you gotta thank and respect him for that. you always gotta keep in mind that he don't have to waste a single hour on this shit, but he does, even later than expected. :)
