CS:GO confirmed at ESWC 2014
The ESWC organisers have confirmed that this year's event will feature CS:GO tournaments for both male and female teams.
The 2014 edition of the ESWC world finals will take place from October 29th to November 2nd under the wings of Paris Games Week, a trade fair for video games held every year at the Parc des expositions de la porte de Versailles.
For the third year in a row, the French event will feature two CS:GO tournaments, one for male and one for female teams.
The male competition will have 24 teams, including the defending champion, Clan-Mystik, an organisation that is currently without a CS:GO division, and four teams invited by ESWC organisers.

Clan-Mystik hold the title, but the team is no more
The attribution of the champion slot to Clan-Mystik is currently on hold as the rules states that a team need to have a minimum of three world champions to receive this honour.
France and North America are so far the only regions with confirmed CS:GO qualifiers, but more events worldwide are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
There will also be two slots handed via application, with teams due to fill out the form that is included on the ESWC's website.
As for the female tournament, it will feature just eight teams, including Copenhagen Games winners Bad Monkey Gaming, who will take the spot from last year's ESWC champion, Druidz.
