NiP send Titan packing
NiP have eliminated Titan from DreamHack summer, defeating the French side 2-1 (de_nuke 16-12, de_inferno 9-16, de_dust2 16-9).
On the first map, de_nuke, Titan started their CT side with two good rounds, but a bomb plant in the first allowed NiP to buy up on the third, countering Titan's own buy round, and costing the French side their early AWP.
Those first three rounds set a precedent for the rest of the half, with neither side really gathering any momentum, resulting in a 10-5 scoreline in favor of Titan at half-time.
The second half, on the other hand, was a different story. NiP made the best of the CT-side advantage early on, storming their way to victory while dropping only two rounds, and winning their prefered map with three match points to spare.

Despite terrific performances by Kenny "kennyS" Schrub, Titan were unable to capitalise
NiP's CT form did not carry over to the second map (de_inferno), however, as Titan got themselves off to a good start by winning the first three rounds. The first buy round worked out better for the Swedes, with Richard "Xizt" Landström picking up three kills; his performance all but securing the next round as well.
The French side recovered, though, winning a number of rounds in quick succession, beginning with a terrific eco push and bomb plant on A site. As the half came to a close, NiP managed to take back a few rounds, but Titan were clearly in the lead, taking the half 10-5.
NiP began their T side with 4 quick rounds, but their march to victory was halted rather impressively by Adil 'ScreaM' Benrlitom, who shut down a bombsite B push with an M4A1-S quad-kill. His impressive display of skill saw the momentum shift back towards Titan, allowing them to close out the map 9-16, and taking it to a third map.

NiP celebrate their victory over Titan
de_dust 2 was the deciding map, and it saw both teams pulling out all stops. The first half was as close as can be, with both teams trading rounds back and forth. The half concluded with NiP narrowly leading 8-7, having started on the Terrorist side.
The second half was a totally different game, as NiP asserted their dominance, winning several consecutive rounds with great style, including an incredible 3v1 clutch by Adam 'friberg' Friberg.
In the end, Titan were unable to take any sort of control as Terrorists, allowing the Swedish side to run away with the victory; they won the map 16-9, and the series 2-1.

The last quarter-final saw the newly formed SK taking on HellRaisers, the latter of which surprised a number of people when they won their group stage, defeating both Titan and Reason convincingly.
Despite a valiant effort by SK, who proved to be a real thorn in the side of the Ukranian side, HellRaisers emerged the victors, winning the series 2-0 (16-8 on de_inferno, 16-11 on de_nuke). They will now go on to face NiP in the second semi-final.
The first semi-final will see Epsilon (ex-Clan Mystik) taking on Natus Vincere, who eliminated Virtus.pro in the quarter-finals 2-0.
